Fantastic Flat in Leafy Kew

This flat has everything you could wish- all the necessaries inside, lovely windows to catch the breeze, and a location just steps from the Thames river path and a short walk through the lovely architecture of Kew to the Tube and Overground.

The only reason I didn't give this 5 stars are logistics, and for many people (including myself) these won't apply. Kew is not central London, and those who want to stay in Soho could be frustrated by the commute time from Kew to the center. Kew is also under some Heathrow flightpaths, but you will only hear planes overhead at a few times of day on a few days of the week, and that depending on the weather. If you're in Soho it's not going to be silent all the time, either!

For any of us who enjoy staying in a beautiful, quiet, residential community and don't need to be in Bloomsbury 5 days a week, this is a fantastic flat.

Great Apartment!

My wife and I stayed at Melissa's apartment our last three nights of an 18 day London and Paris trip. Melissa met us at the apartment early and went over everything we needed to know. We picked the Kew Gardens area so we could spend my wife's birthday in the "Gardens" and we both had a fabulous time and it was ten times better than even our high expectations.

Getting to the apartment from Camden Town was extremely easy because of the over ground train, and when we left it was very easy getting to Heathrow using the District Line to Hamersmith and then the Piccadilly Line to Heathrow. The apartment itself had everything we needed. The bed was very comfortable and there is a new clothes washer, although we never used it. Melissa left some milk and wine for us and within a couple minutes walk there is a very nice Marks and Spencer as well as other shops including a TK Max.

Kew Gardens is a very nice community and we enjoyed our short walks to the restaurants and shops. We originally had planned to stay at the Kew Garden Hotel, but the dates didn't work out and we are glad we ended up at Melissa's, although the pub at the hotel is very nice to sit and enjoy a pint. Thanks for letting us stay at your apartment Melissa!

A real gem!

I have to say I never expect too much, having booked a number of hotels and rooms over the last few years, but this exceeded expectations - 15 minutes from Kew Gardens underground and 25 from Kew Bridge station, and very near the Thames path, and next to a very good retail park including Boots, Next and M&S, the flat was roomy, comfortable and well-equipped. We couldn't have asked more from the owner, who was very, very helpful and friendly. We would stay again.gh

Great apartment, quiet and easy access to London

The apartment was perfect for our stay in Kew, it was quiet, clean, spacious and convenient for access to London. Melissa was a delight and made our stay enjoyable. There was a problem with the kitchen light, but Melissa pointed this out straight away and we were not inconvenienced in anyway. Great access to the Thames towpath, transportation and an M&S food shop just around the corner, what more could we want !

We will definitely be back, thank you Melissa !

A very comfortable and convenient stay!

This one bedroom flat is comfortable and tidy with an excellent location in a modern planned community in charming Kew, a 10 minute walk to the underground which whisks you to Trafalgar Square in 30 minutes. Marks&Spencer food court "around the corner." Melissa could not be more helpful; her greeting was on-time and covered all the bases. My wife and I (late 60s) recommend this flat w/o any reservation whatsoever.

gret stay in Kew

We had a great stay in this apartment. Melissa was there to greet us and was very helpful: the place had everything you might want, and is well situated for exploring Kew, Richmond, and London. Recommended.
