Superb location

The location of this property could not be better if you are planning a stay in Poole. It is in a quiet and very attractive part of the town, but literally within a couple of minutes' walk to the quay, pubs, restaurants, local shops and ferries. The owner, Penny, was extremely helpful when we had a problem with the cooker. She came round very quickly and the problem was soon resolved. She also very kindly sent on a few items that we had inadvertently left behind on our departure! It was obvious that it was important to Penny that guests enjoyed their stay in the property - and we certainly did.

Charming cottage

We enjoyed how close the house was to the quay and high street. The house was close to the bus and train links for day trips exploring Dorset. Penny and Mark were a pleasure to deal with.

Beautiful character cottage in a peaceful location.

A lovely property - very quiet and peaceful but handy for shops, bars and other amenities. More spacious than we expected with lovely light rooms and very well equipped. Christmas dinner for 7 was easily managed! We even managed coffee on the roof terrace which I'm sure would have had a great deal of use at a different time of year.

Lovely cottage yeards from Poole Quay

Warm, well equipped cottage just a minutes walk from Poole Quay. The cottage was clean and well equipped. Excellent communication with the owners. We easily parked an estate and a medium sized car in the yard.

Local visits to Monkey World and Bovington Tank Museum, Lulworth Cove - with a walk to Durdle Door if you don't mind a bit of a hill.

I would happily recommend this cottage to friends and family.

Perfect holiday home!

We have been holidaying in Poole/Sandbanks for around 20 years, and this is by far the best accommodation that we have stayed in.

The location of the house is perfect. Within minutes of all the activities Poole Quay had to offer, yet still very quiet and peaceful.

The cottage is very well equipped and very comfortable. The lounge/dining/kitchen area downstairs is very homely and comfortable. The bedrooms are very comfortable, with the study/3rd bedroom very comfortable for our two children to share.

The roof terrace is lovely and peaceful on a warm summer evening, and the back garden/terrace is perfect for a BBQ.

We will definitely want to book again! Mark and Penny are lovely hosts and so considerate to take the time to pop by to ensure we were happy and enjoying our holiday!

The security deposit of £100 is due within 5 days of making a booking. We will email confirmation of your booking with details of when the full and final payment is due. We will also send some more information about the house to you. We then hold the security deposit until after your departure, and, all being left clean and tidy in the house, we will arrange to return your deposit to you within two weeks of your departure - usually within a few days!
Please remember to bring your own personal towels.
Bed linen is provided for the two double beds. If you wish to use the sofa bed, the mattress cover, double duvet and pillows are provided, but please bring your own bed linen.
Please check with us for the cost of stays shorter than 7 nights as we are not able to charge exactly pro rata. Thank you.
In the event of cancellation less than 3 months prior to your stay, we will endeavour to relet the house. If unsuccessful, we respectfully point out that you will be liable for the cost of the holiday booked, and we suggest you arrange insurance for such an eventuality.
