Fabulous Penthouse

My fourth stay at the Rooftop Penthouse and its always a joy to return. All the mod cons anyone would need, fabulous location & views, two large double bedrooms and a slightly smaller third bedroom with two single beds, plus three bathrooms. Rooftop wrap around balcony with jacuzzi. Well maintained, regular maid service. Night time security guard. All in all just a great place to stay.

We were pleased with the accommodation as described. We applaud Ricardo, a hard working man. Housekeeping and security were also excellent.

Luxury on a budget

We were part of a group that stayed in various condos within the St. Lawrence Beach Condos building. The penthouse and its surrounding patio afforded us the room to host a group BBQ and potluck supper in celebration of Errol Barrow Day.

The Condo -

Open plan, very spacious. Loved the two walls of sliding glass. Lots of seating, both inside and on the patio. Patio had great lighting options and a sound system for memorable evenings with friends. Hot tub was out of service during our stay but not an issue for us.

Kitchen was well equipped and appliances worked well. Really liked the gas grill and the metal shutter that acted as a pass-through from the patio to the kitchen counter.

Bedrooms and baths were nicely appointed and clean. Laundry equipment was excellent.

Attractions,Etc -

Cafe Sol and Luigi's are my favorite restaurants. If you are doing your own cooking, the Massy Store on Rendezvous is close and well stocked as is the Gap Convenience Store.

Downtown Bridgetown, Earthworks Pottery, the rum distilleries, the museum, the Banks Brewery, the Concorde Experience, The Boatyard, Catamaran cruises, SCUBA diving (Roger's Scuba Shack) are all things we've done and enjoyed

Barb and staff -

Barb was great to deal with and provided all the information we asked for. Once at the condo, everyone was very courteous, professional, and friendly. I'd be remiss not to mention Ricardo specifically. He was the guy you talked to when you needed anything. His friendly welcome set the tone for the entire stay and we really appreciated everything he did for us.

I would definitely recommend the property to friends and relatives.

Relaxing Stay with a Beautiful View

Overall we loved our stay at Heavenly Hideaway for our honeymoon July 22 - 28. The view from the balcony and our bedroom was breathtaking, and we spent a lot of time lounging on the balcony chairs, reading, listening to music, and watching the ocean. We loved the pool and during our stay it seemed that there were few other people there - it felt like we had the pool to ourselves a lot of the time. We also loved going out into the ocean from the tiny beach below the pool area. It is so beautiful out there. Overall the staff was friendly - they helped us find a company from which to rent a car and gave other helpful suggestions as well.

There is plenty of food within walking distance (we highly recommend the Indian & Thai restaurant right next door to the condos), and it's always easy to get a taxi from just outside of the condo's gates. There is a grocery store (the Tri Mart) close by (less than 5 min by cab) from which we bought breakfast food. It has reasonable prices and was easy to navigate.

The only downside to our stay was the air conditioning situation in the living room. It did not work well for us from the first day (didn't turn on), but got increasingly better each day when we tried to turn it on. Since we preferred the balcony to the living room and did not spend our days inside of the condo, this was not much of a problem. The air conditioning in our room worked perfectly so our nights were comfortable.

Overall we had a lovely, relaxing stay at Heavenly Hideaway.
