A lovely house, tastefully restored.

We were very pleased to spend a week in this spotless, comfortable house. It's short walk to excellent restaurants, good shops and historic buildings; a short drive to some of the most beautiful spots on Ireland's south coast. Highly recommended.

What a find!

I chose this cottage because I was really impressed with the photos and the positive reviews, I have to say I was not disappointed! The house is Soooo fabulous, the interior is stunning and the patio area a real sun trap. We had our 16 month old daughter with us and it was great as we didn't need to bring a high chair or travel cot. The location is great too as it's so quick to get to the shops, cafe's and restaurants. We had a wonderful holiday and thoroughly recommend staying in this little gem.

Amazing property, Fabulous location

We were searching for a small home in or near Kinsale. What a find!

Lovely, refurbished 2 bedroom with one bath, in the heart of Kinsale. Beautifully decorated, with a professional designer's flair. Fresh flowers and plenty of fuel for the fire on arrival.

Walk to everything, yet in a peaceful, quiet location. Master has a queen, 2nd bedroom has a queen and twin. (Livingroom couch is also a comfortable sleeping alternative.) Car park in the back, good wifi. Delightful owner.

When you rent it, please take good care of the place, as we can't wait to return.

Great house and location-family friendly

We stayed in this 2-bed home at the start of August. A family with 3 young boys, we were able to have meals together in the back garden and the large open plan living/dining space as well as easily enjoy our very first visit to Kinsale. The kitchen, which is all modern like the rest of the house, has folding doors that open it up to the patio garden - perfect for summer visits but even when it rained were terrific to be able to open up the house. The pictures on the website are not an exaggeration, this is a cleanly designed and presented house with TV/sofa perfect for the end of a busy day and early morning kids' entertainment while preparing for our next day out. Bedrooms and bathroom have great furniture and natural light, all well presented when we arrived.

The house is two minutes walk from a terrific local pub and shops and five minutes from the town centre and marina so evening walks were easy - and we were able to go out for forgotten pints of milk or just explore without hassle. We had a large 7-seater car too that we either parked just outside the front door or in the parking area at the rear of the property. Both were no problem so we could use the house as a base to explore the beaches south of Kinsale or head into Cork, Cobh and other local places.

The house owner was also in contact with us by mobile phone with tips for where to go and where to eat out, and with answers to any questions. Very helpful. We very much recommend this rental if you want to be central for access to a great place like Kinsale or to venture to the rest of the south coast/West Cork area.

Gorgeous house

I rented this house for a weekend away with the girls. The house was so inviting and cosy that we didn't want to leave. The location is excellent and the house has all the facilities you could ask for in a rental property. I would highly recommend staying here as the unique and quirky characteristics of this cottage offer much more than a holiday home.

A Home From Home

This is a very comfortble and relaxing house. The best appointed holiday rental I have ever stayed in. The decor is modern & quirky with something to catch your eye at every turn.The kichen is excellent with everything you could need, the living area is comfortable and the beds very snuggly. The house was clean & plenty of towels available.

The little courtyard is a real suntrap. We were too tempted by the restaurants of Kinsale to have a BBQ but it was perfect for pre dinner drinks.

The house is in the centre of town and only a step away from the many restaurants, pubs and shops Kinsale has to offer. Although in the middle of town it was remarkably peacful & relaxing. Kinsale is a very historic town and there are some lovely walks with beautiful views. The ghost tour is a must!

No 8 highly recommended!!
