The loft level of Green Gables is local attraction in its own right. This level was recently retrofitted by a ship's carpenter, giving it the feel of a spacious schooner. The pine wooden floors and finishes shine like newly swabbed decks. The breakfast bar is a unique, curved, veneer-finish captain's table. The master bedroom has an antique bed like a stateroom on a luxury ship. But the feature that will is the half-moon deck from where you can watch the sun set over the Sheepscot inlet.
