Excellent house in a secluded and private part of

We are a family of 2 adults and 2 children. We rented this house for 3 nights and found it to be excellent. The house is very spacious, faces south (nice and sunny) and is situated in a great part of the estate and has everything you expect. The kids were very happy with the free WIFI!

The Countryside of Mount Juliet

What a beautiful place! It is true...Walton Grove is a spacious home for wanting getting away and see the country side. Our party of 6 enjoyed the facilities immensely. Although the home is lovely, it would have been helpful to have been greeted by the housekeeper or other appointed person. We were unable to locate directions for using the washer/dryer and needed to make slight changes to the sleeping arrangements. When asked to leave the house keeper money for her troubles...I easily agreed. As an after thought, this should not have been a problem had someone been available for our arrival.

This beautiful home needs some TLC and the extra bathrooms were lovely but not enough hot water for 1/2 of our party of six.

The owner was quite easy to work with and had our stay been longer I have no doubt she would have made accommodations. I am rating the accommodations as "Good" as a result of the beautiful estate.

Waltons Grove, Mount Juliet

As a regular visitor to 18 Walton's Grove in Mount Juliet, I cannot recommend it more highly. Ideal location on the Mount Juliet Estate, the facilites are 5* - large excellent bedrooms and bathrooms, fully fitted kitchen and very spacious living area.

What a terrific house. Large, modern and well appointed with everything you need to be comfortable. The owners Michelle and Marty are fantastic to work with and extremely helpful in coordinating events. Mount Juliette is a once in a life time experience...fresh air, beautiful scenery, terrific amenities and a wonderful staff. I can't wait to come back!

Wonderful Atmosphere Home from Home

We had the pleasure of staying in this wonderful house over the new year celebrations along with a large group of friends and lots of children. We enjoyed our experience hugely and in particular the wonderful walk to Thomastown for a lovely pint in the local pub. The walks around the wooded estate followed with afternoon tea in the hotel was a real pleasure. The amenities are fantastic particularly for the children, we enjoyed a round of golf while the children went horse riding, then to the spa ending up in the games room, they hardly missed us we even managed a drink in the hunter yard. The house provides five star facilities with more than adequate space for four adults and six children. The house is very comfortable with everything provided. We felt completely at home cooking delicious meals in the well equipped kitchen, enjoying very civilized diners at the lovely dining table and settling down afterwards in front of the roaring fire. The house is very private and is set in a most beautiful part of the estate. Thank you Michelle for making our New Years celebrations so comfortable and memorable. We will be back next year.

picturesque surroundings & excellent amenities

we rented this property with our three children over the easter holidays.

we chose it because of the quality of the rental house, the numerous activities on offer and the magnificient surrounding within the estate. the fact that Mount Juliet is approx 90 minutes drive from Dublin is a big plus.

When we drove through the gates we experienced that unique calm and tranquil feeling that only Mount Juliet can induce.

The property is large, deceptively spacious, private, well maintained and fitted out. We loved the open fire, the facility for eating outdoors and the rolling green grass to the rear of the house with it's sunny aspect. The large bedrooms provide extra scope to escape with a book or newspaper and the TVs in the bedrooms are a welcome addition. We used the pool and gym almost everyday so the availability of generous size utility rooms facilitated storage for all our gear.

The self catering facilities gave us felxibility with the children, yet we used the various restaurants and bars in Mount Juliet's main house and more casual dining in the golf / sports area.

We walked the magnificent grounds,visited the playground, cycled on paths through the estate, swam (and paddled in the toddlers pool), golfed, jogged, used the gym and steam room, had afternoon tea in the main house and the children enjoyed their first horse riding lessons.

The staff throughout are first class, very helpful and nothing is a problem.

The owner provided us with useful information on the facilities and child friendly advise to maximise our enjoyment of our holiday.

I would highly recommend this property for any holiday - short break, long stay, winter or summer, with or without family.
