Umbrien genießen in der Olivi Suite!
Wer Ruhe, Gastfreundschaft, eine wunderbare Umgebung die Farben Umbriens und kulturelle Highlights schätzt, ist hier genau richtig. Wir sind begeistert!
Thank you for the review. It was a pleasure having you stay with us again!
This is a delightful couple who were perfect guests at our villa. We hope to welcome them again in the future.
Relaxing holidays in a house with stunning view
We spent our holidays in a group of 8 persons between 20 and 23 years so we rent both of the appartements. The appartements are very beautiful with all things you need. There's a supermarket 15 minutes away (by foot) so we got our food every day fresh from there (especially the beef from the butcher was very good). The village is small but very italian and the people there are really friendly and helpful. We enjoyed it there, but if you want to go to some restaurants or something you need to go there by car.
Elegant home in beautiful Umbria countryside
We wanted a quiet place in the country for our ten day exploration of this beautiful and historic area. This was pretty close to perfect. Large rooms, very modern and adequate kitchen and a real shower (If you travelled in Europe you'll know how rare that is). Quiet, private and gorgeous views. All necessary information provided and greeted upon arrival by a pleasant, capable woman with very good English. Travelled the back roads to Gubbio, Montone, Assisi, Montepulciana, Perugia, Todi and many more, always retreating to the comfort of our home away from home. Highly recommended. Negatives: 20 min to a coin op do it yourself laundry; furnishings visually great but a little bit Spartan.
My husband and I visited Italy for the first time this month. We were fortunate enough to find this little gem in the Umbrian countryside. The home has been restored with love, in the most perfect location. It had everything we needed including proximity to all the villages we wanted to visit, including Assisi, Todi and Spoleto. It is a two hour drive from Roma, which made it the perfect getaway from the busyness of the big cities. There are many stores and great restaurants nearby, although we preferred to come home from touring around most evenings and make ourselves a meal in the fully stocked kitchen and sit outside with the most incredible view and watch beautiful sunsets every evening. We did treat ourselves out for dinner at a castle one night, just 20 mins away, and tried a restaurant Tanya recommended in Piccione. If you are looking for the perfect Italian getaway, we would highly recommend this incredibly quiet, beautiful location. We hope to return again in a couple years, to share this experience with our good friends.
The perfect location to relax and explore
If I could give this rental/location 6 stars I would. After spending two weeks working in Florence during the heat wave this summer, then a few days in the crowds in Venice, we knew we needed to find a place to relax and enjoy Italy away from the crowds. The villa is so beautifully and consciously restored and decorated, we instantly felt relaxed and welcomed. The infinity pool with the most exquisite view was a constant enjoyment throughout our stay. The view and sunsets are amazing and it's delightful to sit on your own patio with all the scents of the fresh lavender and roses sipping a glass of wine. We took small trips to the neighboring towns/ villages to sight see explore . Fatticiola Selvetica, the local town, was having its annual festival with food and music and dancing. We also caught a night of great music at the Umbrian Jazz festival in Perugia. Everything was so close and with Tanya's recommendations and insider tips we were able to navigate the area easefully and enjoyably. Tanya is the most gracious host! Simultaneously making us feel totally relaxed and at home while also being accessible for any questions we had. We would love to return!
