Rainbow Bungalow, our first bungalow, was specifically designed to be a great place for small groups to gather. With 2 queen sized bedrooms and a loft furnished with 3 futons, Rainbow was designed to be both flexible and inviting. A modern kitchen provides great entertainment for those who love to cook and 2 1/2 bathrooms provide not only privacy, but also convenience! Great community and private spaces are just a few of the things that make Rainbow so appealing. Whether you prefer to snuggle next to the fire with a book, escape to the loft for a movie, or gather at the table to play a competitive game of Scrabble, Rainbow Bungalow is ready to accommodate. Each of the rooms has been intentionally designed to provide a relaxing retreat from the hustle and bustle of everyday life.

Rainbow Bungalow

Rainbow bungalow is a lovely property right on the Sandy River. Perfect place to snuggle into on a rainy November weekend. Gas fireplace adds a lovely touch. Hot Tubbing during a rain storm was a unique and fun experience.

Great cozy cabin in perfect location

We’ve stayed at this cabin a few times before and really like it. It is very cozy and close to many great hikes. One suggestion we have is that they switch to fragrance-free cleaning products, such as in the laundry detergent. Fragrances in cleaning products are typically made from synthetic chemicals that many people like me have allergies and sensitivities to.

Potential for good to great

The property needs lots of maintenance, a good cleaning inside and outside and general repairs and touch ups. We had read about issues with the futons upstairs which clearly have not been addressed. The futons have clearly worn out, and I have to believe there are some good day beds or other furniture that can transition to beds as needed. The hot tub looked filthy outside and in, outside chairs were dirty and covered in cobwebs. The exterior needs some paint, working light bulbs, etc. I appreciate the need to keep it rented, but regular maintenance and updates are always a good idea!

The house is excellent. We were two couples and the house perfectly suited our needs. Loved the hot tub by the river. Be aware that you will get 2 emails from the property before checking in. The first contains the wrong entry code (someone else mentioned this as well). The second contains the correct entry code. Once we figured that out, we were good to go. We had some questions for the property manager but she didn't get back to us in a timely manner - the only way to contact her is through VRBO.
