Fabulous holiday.

Great apartment, very comfortable, well equipped and close to all amenities. A slight Blip with the washing machine door but was sorted within a day by the agent Sarah - Brilliant service. Lagos is a lovely part of Portugal and we will definitely be returning. Fabulous boat trips, train journeys, great restaurants and very very drinkable Portuguese wine. Perfect holiday.

Lovely apartment

The apartment was spacious, clean and well furnished. Kitchen had everything you need, including a coffee machine, which was a welcome addition! The balcony did get the sun from noon until it went down. We had 3 teen boys with us who enjoyed the pools and jacuzzi very much. Cafe Frescos on the corner of the building serve great food for breakfast and lunch - good portions and fairly priced. Only a short walk to the marina and about 5 mins into town. We would definitely stay here again. My only suggestion would be to provide more than one key to avoid the 40€ call out charge when your son has locked the key inside the apartment!!!

Location, location, location

The apartment was easy to find with plenty of parking for those with a car (although you didn't need one for this resort). The details to access the building and apartment were sent by text message and clear to follow. The apartment was beautifully presented and extremely spacious with a large sitting area, two large double bedrooms and two bathrooms. The kitchen was fully kitted out with all you needed for self catering, including dishwasher and washing machine. The wifi had a strong signal and our teenage daughter was able to access all her usual channels. There was a nice balcony to relax on although the view was over the supermarket (only downside). The amenities in the apartment block included a good sized swimming pool, both inside and out, as well as a gym and small kids play area. The families with small children seemed to have a great time and there were plenty of sun loungers to go around.

The best thing about this apartment was its location. A 2min walk to a local cafe, bar and supermarket. 5 min walk to the fantastic Marina where there were excellent restaurants and live entertainment every night. 10min walk to the old town with all the charm of Lagos' restaurants, street entertainment, shops, historical buildings and of course, ice cream! For those wanting to travel further afield, the bus station was only 5mins and train station 10mins walk away. The beach we went to was huge with beautiful golden sand and only a leisurely stroll through the Marina. Finally, for those more active, there was plenty of water sports, a not to be missed trip through the famous caves around the coast 10-20euros (haggle), dolphin watching, shark and bottom fishing.

Overall a fantastic holiday in a wonderful apartment. I'm sure we will be returning some time in the future. Thanks Paul

Fabulous Apartment

Had a fantastic week in this spotless apartment which deserves its 5 star rating. It had everything you could need for a vacation and more. Great attention to detail, comfortable beds and beautifully furnished. Jacuzzi bath was a lovely extra. The whole complex is very well maintained. Great location, near the Marina with lots of lovely restaurants and a short stroll to the town.

Lagos is beautiful with its cobblestone streets and promenade and great beaches. PJ also organised our transfers which went without a hitch. Overall we couldn't have been happier and will definitely be returning.

Doce Bliss aprtment

My wife , my daughter and I stayed in the Doce Bliss apartment and the only regret we had was that we couldn't stay longer.

The apartment was large, clean and fully equipped. The whole property is very well maintained and set in a central , but quiet location.

The kitchen was fully outfitted and had everything we needed to cook our own meals. But we also enjoyed lunch and dinner in one of the numerous fine restaurants in Lagos.

We explored the historic towns and villages like Portimao , Sagres , Albufeira , Monchique , all well worth a visit, also Faro is within easy reach making the Doce Bliss apartment an excellent base.

I highly recommend staying at this property !

Recovering from a busy tour!

Wonderful fully equipped condo in Lagos, close to the bus station, and more importantly, the centre of town. A mere 10 minutes through lovely streets lined with pubs/restaurants and shopping. The condo is spacious, with lots of seating and extra cots if required.

Very clean and well appointed, with comfy beds with good linens. Appliances in great working order, although sometimes understanding how they function was a challenge - but once mastered, worked very well.

Pool lovely, with sun throughout the day - but not very busy when we were there.

Onsite manager very response, and the owner - a delight to work with.

If we ever come to Lagos again, we wouldn't stay anywhere else.

Thanks Paul for sharing your home with us - we thoroughly enjoyed our stay.
