A Perfect Holiday Apartment

This was our second visit to this beautiful, stylish apartment, and again we had the most amazing holiday. Having enjoyed ourselves so much when we stayed here for a week 3 years ago, this time we decided to come for 2 weeks, and we are very glad we did. Myself, my wife and our 2 girls (14 & 12) thoroughly enjoyed it.

The apartment is immaculate, as is the entire block, and is fully equipped with everything you need. We had lots of communication with Denis & Marion before we arrived, and as ever they were extremely helpful and friendly.

The apartment still feels like new, is laid out very well, and with plenty of space for a family of 4. The views of the mountains from every room are out of this world, and the balcony is a lovely place to sit and relax at any time of day.

The swimming pool is fantastic, always spotlessly clean, and the sauna is amazing.

Walks:

All of the Bisse walks are beautiful, never steep, varied, and with the constant sound of water and beautiful flowers everywhere. Our favourites are probably the Bisse du Mileu, Bisse Vieux and Bisse de Saxon (a steep walk to get to it though!)

Walking up the Dent de Nendaz is a must. Hard but worth it. If you are feeling particularly energetic you could walk up or down to Tracouet as well instead of taking the cable car.

The Barrage du Cleuson is spectacular and well worth a visit. We drove to Siviez, took the chairlift to Combatseline and then walked to the Dam and back down to Siviez, but there are other routes.

Restaurants

Our favourite is definitely the Trattoria Dei Savi, just the other side of the Coop. Friendly, good value, and the best pizza I've had in years. Also excellent is Taverne de l'Alpee, near the Tourist Office on the Route de la Telecabine.

Supermarkets

Both the Coop and Migros have everything you need, but are quite expensive. Lidl in Conthey is only a 25 minute drive away, and is much better value.

The open air swimming pool is lovely, and only a 2 minute walk away. Any walks you do will be good, even just going to the Antennae! There are cows and a stream on the way.

Martigny is a lovely town, only about 40 minutes away, with a great Art Gallery. There is a market there on a Thursday, although the market in Sion on Friday is bigger and better, definitely worth a visit.

All in all an absolutely fantastic holiday in a lovely apartment in the most beautiful place. We will definitely be returning. Thank you so much Denis & Marion.

Ski Holiday - February 2016

Very nice family apartment with lots of space. The apartment/buiding looked like new. Nice view at the mountains from inside. We had a nice skiing week with lots of snow. (+Covered car parking)

The property was very clean, and well managed. We had a very good and nice communication with the owners while booking.

For apres ski we can advice "Cheersbar" en for quality food our Dutch friend Ono at Restaurant "Les Etagnes" www.lesetagnes.com.

Fabulous property in an amazing location

We stayed in Nendez with out two sons aged 23 and 21 in July. The apartment was fabulous and very well equipped. You would never get tired of the magnificent view from the balcony. We used the pool and sun terrace, a nice way to end a day out and about.

There is plenty to do in and around Nendez itself. We visited the tourist office in the centre of Nendez and the staff were very helpful. We went walking and mountain biking in the local area. We also visited nearby Siviez and took the cable cars up to Mont Fort then walked down and across to La Clusaz dam . Fabulous views. The apartment is also close to the French border and we went to Chamoniz and also into Italy to Lake Maggiore and Stresa ( a slightly longer car journey).

Everywhere we went the scenery was breathtaking.

Denis and Marion were very helpful and suggested places to go. Patrick at Premier Alpine Centre( next to the 4 star hotel)where we hired our bikes gave us information on cycle trails and spoke excellent English.

Our sons loved it and so did we. We will definitely return and would love to see this area in winter. Thank you Denis and Marion.

Great family holiday

My wife and I and our 3 year old daughter had a fantastic skiing holiday over the new year period.

Having stayed with friends in a large group the year before, in a large house a bit further out, we wanted something closer to the centre of town for access to shops, restaurants etc. without having to use the car. This apartments location is perfect.

A short walk to the telecabine in the morning was ideal. The afternoons were spent sledging (directly outside the apartment building) and in the swimming pool, which we loved.

The apartment was well equipped for cooking and had ample storage for our needs. The underground (covered) parking was also a bonus.

We would thoroughly recommend this apartment to anyone who is considering a stay in Nendaz, we have already enquired about a return visit for next year.

Magnificent apartment in a splendid location

Friends of our stayed in Nandaz for a short summer break and we enjoyed the area and the senic views of the Alps.

The apartment is a short walk to the centre of the town where there is lovely resturants and shops.

The apartment is fully equipped with all facilties and with the luxury pool and sauna

it is a great way to keep fit and rela

We hired a car and toured to Italy and France and Nandaz is the gateway to these fanatastic resorts.

The owners information and guidance were excellent and we could not fault their information and guidance

We will definitely return for the ski season next year and a summer break will be on the holiday agenda

Great apartment within a great ski area

Our group of 4 experienced skiers enjoyed a great holiday using this excellent apartment as a base.

There are within the Valais region many interesting and varied ski centres to enjoy.

Haute Nandaz is linked to Siviez, Thyon and Verbier . Also within 30 minutes travel by car are Crans Montana, Grimentz, and Champex.

After a long, hard day on the slopes we were able to relax and recover in very comfortable surroundings. Provided are ski storage, washing and drying facilities; swimming pool and sauna; a fully equipped kitchen close to supermarkets; soft seats and warm beds. All our clothing we could put-away in wardrobes and drawers. Everything was spotlessly clean and fresh thanks to an on-site concierge.

In all, I was so impressed that I recommended its use to my son's family.
