We thoroughly enjoyed our 12 day stay in this apartment which is very well equipped, comfortable and in a good location. Good bus and train services enabled us to explore the area easily and it's only a 5 minute walk to the beach. Adam responded to queries quickly and thoughtfully.

Modern & spacious apartment, close to the beach

The apartment is spacious, with balconies extending off all the rooms. The balcony off the large living room, has a sea view and is a lovely place to sit and have breakfast.

Although the apartment isn't in the centre of Menton, it is only a 20 minute walk along the sea front to the lovely old town, where there is a sandy beach and lots of nice restaurants and shops. Koalaland, a small children's amusement park is just ten minutes walk away and was very popular with our two!

Adam, the apartment owner, responded promptly to all my emailed queries, and booking and payment were very efficiently handled. Michaela who looks after the apartment, met us on arrival and was very kind and helpful.

Holiday in Menton

The apartment we stayed in at Roquebrune-Cap-Martin was ideally situated, for the beaches, buses, trains and shops. Adam kindly arranged a taxi to pick us up from the airport and we were met at the apartment when we arrived. If your self catering and don't want to eat out every night the supermarket is along the street, there are some lovely Boulangeries close by for fresh bread and some fruit and fish stalls in the area.

We found the apartment was clean and tidy with plenty of wardarobe space in the bedrooms, the kitchen was well stocked with various utensils and crockery but some of the mugs had chips in and needed to be replaced and a new shower mat in the bathroom was also required.

For anyone wanting to go to the beach the apartment was well equiped with everything you needed, deck chairs, parasol and beach mats and the beach was only a five minuet walk away if that. The apartment had a balcony over looking the sea although it was a restricted sea view with some apartments in front, it was still a pleasant view. The kitchen and bedroom also had small balconies over looking the main street of Roquebrune-Cap-Martin but very little noise could be heard.

We very much enjoyed our first family holiday staying in this apartment, it was nice to explore the bustling streets of Roquebrune-Cap-Martin and the surrounding area and would stay in this apartment again.

more than we expected

This place really was more than we expected. The location was amazing, not even a block from the sea. You had a great view of the mediterranean from the balcony and the indoor eating area. The first impression when you walk into the apartment is space! It is very unusual in europe to have such a lovely big living room, and the couch is so big and comfy.There are 2 bedrooms and 2 balconys, one facing the sea and one facing the mountains, not to mention the extra one that had the washer on it.This place has a ton of storage, more than most people will need for a vacation.As for the fittings, it was, like the town, a mixture of the old and the new, though it did have a full sized fridge!The promenade de soleil was great. It is a long paved walkway that leads both east and west along the sea, making for great opportunities for both picture taking and taking in the restaurants along it's length. The Vieux Ville, or old town with all it's outside market stalls, is just a 10 or 15 minute stroll along this path. There are several bus stops within a block that will take you there much more quickly, or to the airport or to any of the nearby towns for sum so minimal we couldn't believe it! Go to Monaco, it was one of our favorites. We were there in 20-30 min. for the princely sum of 1 euro each way and caught the in town bus there to check out the town for only one more!The folks that own this apartment really had our comfort in mind, right down to providing maps of the bus routes, lots of books (in English!) and even beach shoes!Great thanks to Michaela who showed us around. If we ever come back to this area, I would definitely stay here again.
