Excellent property

We rented this property for our annual family vacation and it was excellent. The property was in pristine condition and in an excellent location. We have rented again for this upcoming summer's vacation as it was by far the best that we have found to date. The property manager was great and assisted us immediately with a few check in details. I would highly recommend this property to anyone.

Best vacation ever

This property was as advertised and more importantly, the layout and features made it perfect for the multigenerational, multi-family vacation we hosted. There was plenty of room for both whole group and small group events and the property was large enough that those wanting to just curl up in a quiet place to read could do so. We had a minor glitch with the access code upon arrival but the representative was responsive and we were able to get in after ~30 minutes. It would be helpful to have the access code tested after it is re-programmed remotely for the next renter. Otherwise a fantastic property!

Incredible, immaculate event home

We had people flying in from all over the country. The home housed all of us very comfortably (private bathroom for each), stunning ocean view, wonderful sound system, and stunningly appointed. Listing underestimates this property; it is accurate regarding everything. Owner was readily available by email for any questions. I would recommend this property to anyone..as a matter of fact...I already have. Mam Kwan's restaurant was fun and delish! The Aquarium was great! And, we were especially excited to see the Dolphins rolling in the waves right outside of the beach as we ate breakfast! Love, Love, LOVED this property!

Perfect for large family get-away

Though the weather the early part of April can be quite unexpected, overall we had very comfortable weather...warm enough for the eight grandchildren (ages 4 and under) to enjoy not only the beach but the pool. There were 17 of us ( 4 generations) and we had plenty of space. Loved the large dining table. It allowed all of us to dine together. The kitchen was wonderful..we had many chefs. Also, with that many children in the house, we found the laundry room superb. The media room was a great hit for the young ones. They enjoyed movie night with sleeping bags and bowls of popcorn!! The older boys!!(ha,ha) loved it for college basketball play-offs!! We made lots of memories and will definitely be back!!

Soul Surfer is a fantastic house! We rented it the last week of August, a group of 18 parents and our children ranging in age from 18 to 22. The house was large enough to accomodate all of us comfortably. The views were amazing and of course, the ocean front location was a huge plus. The house is decorated very well with my favorite colors, and all bedrooms and bathrooms are comfortable, clean and modern. There was plenty of refrigerator space and the ice makers were much appreciated. We lingered for hours each morning on the upper deck, enjoying the ocean views and the breeze. The location is very convenient, although, honestly, we mostly stayed at the house. We have rented on Route 12 (north on the peninsula) for many years, and found traffic to be much better in Nag's Head due to the 4 lane highway and the beach road. The movie fans thoroughly enjoyed the theater room. We found the kitchen's inventory adequate, and we could fit at the large dining table for group meals and games at night.
