SUPER CLEAN
This lovely one bedroom (with additional sofa bed) condo is on the top floor of one of the tallest buildings in Mission Beach with GREAT VIEWS. From the wall of windows you can see all the way south to downtown, north to La Jolla, west to the Pacific and east to Mission Bay.

The moment that you step in the door, you are surrounded by a feeling of relaxation and calm. The bright new furnishings and happy decor make it easy to jump right in to a 'leave your troubles behind' mood, and the fact that you are only steps from the Mission Beach Boardwalk with miles of sand and sea bring that feeling into reality!

MISSION BEACH, the BEACHWALK, MISSION BAY, RESTAURANTS, SHOPPING, BELMONT PARK (with it's roller coaster and wave machine) are just a short walk away. SEA WORLD is a five minute drive while SAN DIEGO ZOO, BALBOA PARK, DOWNTOWN SAN DIEGO with it's GAS LAMP DISTRICT and OLD TOWN are within a 15-20 minute drive!

The wall of windows and terrace off of the sunny living room look out to the Pacific Ocean on the right and Mission Bay on the left. With views of the Downtown San Diego skyline and Sea World fireworks (nightly in the summer...weekends year round!). You can see for miles while you sit on the terrace with your morning coffee.

If you insist on working or just keeping up with the internet, we provide super fast WiFi service. And also have additional sports channels for your enjoyment...when you're not outside at the beach!

The kitchen is equipped with new stainless steel appliances, including a microwave, dishwasher and trash compactor. Just bring food because everything else is provided! All this is surrounded by beautiful marble counters and floors.

Extra care has been taken to provide the most comfortable bed (the mattress was recently replaced with a $4000. luxury mattress that sleeps like heaven!) with down pillows and comforters. We've also recently installed an aircondtioner in the bedroom which enables you to choose the most comfortable temperature for your sleep preferences. And if you're too chilly, there's a fireplace on the wall that not only provides heat but delicious romantic atmosphere!

The bath, with tub and drenching rain shower head, has been completely remodeled and surrounded with travertine marble tile on the floors, shower and vanity top.

Every care has been taken in the hope that you feel like the special and valued guest that you are!

Great location, as advertised!

My wife and I came for a long weekend in San Diego. Lots of cool stuff nearby, and the place was good The check-in process was my only complaint We had to set up a specific time to meet the property manager for a key exchange and an unnecessarily long tour of the very small place A keypad with a code would be a more Convenient way to check in

Excellent Location

This spot was a very easy walk to the beach and many restaurants nearby. We also rented a car and loved that we had parking. We were able to get to everything that we wanted to see in San Diego within a 15 minute drive. This spot was ideal. We rented bikes overnight and it was nice to have a garage place to keep them. We had minor maintenance issues, but Katharine, the property manager, and Sandi, the owner, were doing everything they could to get it fixed. Great people to work with!

Great time. Nice location.

The unit is well stocked with pretty much everything you need. Very close to the beach. The bed is super-comfortable with a nice selection of blankets so you can choose the one for the season you are visiting. Towels and bathing products well supplied. The TV and internet worked well. The one (big) problem we had was that the elevator stopped working after our second (of 9 nights). Being on the 3rd floor, it was pretty challenging when we left resulting in multiple trips to/from the car. Also, the dishwasher worked, but needs some "attention" and the photos posted here need some updating. Our hostess Katherine was very helpful and informative. Gave us valuable info about the area including restaurants and places to visit.

Fabulous location and nice condo

We (myself, husband, and son) really enjoyed our stay here. Condo was very clean and comfortable. Fruit bowl was a nice touch. The location can’t be beat…just steps to the beach! Two minor complaints…the elevator in condo is very “touchy” and sometimes didn’t work. This forced us to take the stairs to third floor which wasn’t a big deal except when our arms were full of groceries. Secondly, the portable air conditioner in the bedroom wasn’t set up and we didn’t realize. The first night we woke up sweltering, realizing the outflow tube wasn’t in the window but instead was blowing hot air into our room. However, even after putting it in the window and setting temp to 70, room was still hot. Fortunately there was a fan in closet and that helped. Just as an FYI for future guests…room was quite warm even with the portable AC. I would still recommend this condo as a great place to stay, based on location, price, safety, and cleanliness.

Sandi and Rick Ellis have lived in Grants Pass Oregon for the past 5 years since moving from Carmel Valley California. We are semi retired and share our lives with our four dogs and one horse. We enjoy updating the condo when we visit several times a year for a clean and new feeling for our guests.

We purchased this condo when our daughter was earning her pHd and needed a bright place to live for five years that was close to shopping and recreation. Since then our family and friends have enjoyed using the condo to vacation at the beach. Because our family and friends use this home, we have decorated and maintained it not so much for rental but for our enjoyment, so it's nicer than you might expect from a beach rental.

O que faz essa propriedade ser única?

Guests have complimented our condo as being incredibly welcoming with everything provided that even might be needed. "It's as though you read our mind" . We have stocked the condo so that we have to bring only our clothes and necessities when we visit. So guests are gifted with what we provide for ourselves.
We are located on what locals call "The Strand" which is a spit of land only a few hundred feet wide. Mission Blvd. runs down the middle of it and the Pacific is just steps away as well as Mission Bay on the other side.
It's a truly unique location. The bright atmosphere first attracted us to this condo but the additional advantages that we appreciate now are the proximity to restaurants, shops and rental businesses. Not to mention the beach and bay on either side of the building. We can pull in to the gated and secure garage and never use our car again until we're ready to return on our journey.
