The place is a little quirky.
First of all we were informed that the back door lock was broken so to access the house from the river you had to go through the bathroom. Weird and inconvenient. Freezing cold the first night with A/C set at 75, turned the thermostat to 80 and that seemed to be about right. House was limited in the way of kitchen utensils. Basically just mixed matched stuff from the thrift store. Pots and pans with burnt residue from previous guests. We never cooked a single meal in our stay. Disappointing. Other properties we rented in the past were well stocked that included spices a few condiments in the fridge and in the pantry with a policy of if you use something and finish it, replace it. That was nice. This place had nothing. Nothing in the kitchen, no extra blankets, no dressers an any of the bedrooms, bare bones!! I will say the neighbors were very nice folks, allowing us to borrow a few things during our stay that should have been there when we arrived.
