Be in the center of it all with this country house on the Eastern Shore near Salisbury, MD. The single-family home has 3 bedrooms, 2.5 bathrooms on an acre of land with vaulted living room, two-sided fireplace, very large dining room and kitchen with an island and window seat, deck, and above ground 27 foot pool! Country living yet within 10 minutes of major shopping areas (5 minutes for nearest food store and Dunkin Donuts) and easy access to major Route 50.

Great place to unwind after spending the day exploring the Eastern Shore's beaches, small beach towns, ferries to island in the bay including:
-Ocean City, MD - approx 40 minutes
-Berlin, MD (America's Coolest Small Town) - approx 30 mins
-Easton, MD - approx 55 mins
-Chincoteague Island, VA - approx 55 mins
-Cape Charles, VA - approx 1 hr 45 mins
-Crisfield, MD - approx 45 mins
-Rehoboth Beach, DE - approx 1 hr 15 mins
-Salisbury University, Salisbury, MD - approx 12-15 mins (6-7 miles)
-Henry S. Parker Athletic Complex - approx 9 mins (6 miles)

In a word….PERFECT!!

What a beautiful home in a quiet area!! This was by far the #1 home/stay of all our VRBO reservations!! It fit our needs perfectly and was even closer to our baseball tournament than we thought. Graham was amazing with communication and providing helpful information about the area that we referred to many times during our stay. We are looking forward to hopefully staying again next year😊

Great Family weekend

We enjoyed our stay very much. We were in town visiting our oldest daughter who is attending Salisbury University. It was nice having a place to relax and have a great family game night instead of being separated in individual rooms at a hotel. The house had everything thing we needed and was located in a quiet area not too far outside of Salisbury. It only took us about 10 minutes to get to SU and other places we visited around Salisbury. There are a few cosmetic things around the house that need to be fixed but overall we were happy with the house. In relation to other reviews we didn't have any problem with hot water or the cleanliness of the house.

Underwhelmed

The house looked like it hadn’t received a proper clean in months. As I had a one year old with me, I had to vacuum, sweep and dust all of the floors upon check-in to make sure it was safe for him. I’m not talking about one dust ball- I’m talking about spider webs in all the corners, ten flies in a pile, ants behind and up on the couch. Everything in the living room and under tables was dirty and dusty, dining table had a douse crumbs under it. Ceilings in the kitchen were patched up and in need of repair. Both vents in the master bedroom had mold around them. The deck needs to be repaired/repainted as all the paint was chipping and blowing around. Pans were dirty and/or badly scratched. Coffee pot was broken and keurig side just poured out grounds. Host was responsive, it just wasn’t enough to make up for the lacking property. I never want to feel a place is dirty upon arrival. Area is easy to get to and house could be nice with some TLC. Pool was clean and well maintained.

You have the peace and quiet of the country with the convenience of major shopping, restaurants, etc within 10-15 minutes. Centralized location to numerous quaint bay towns, outlets, casinos, beaches, etc.

Amazing sunsets can be seen from the vaulted living room! If you are there long enough (all summer), you can watch the corn stalks grow from seedling to full size. Beautiful two-sided fireplace is the focal point of this home.
