We have just returned fro our stay at the apartments and have to say what a great and relaxing time we had. The resort is not bustling and not very big but a fanatstic place to chill. The accomadation is spot on! and close by to everything. The view from the balcony is beautiful. It is very peaceful and has a nice pool area.
Karen, the owner was a great help form the initial booking to our return. Nothing was a problem and it was lovely to deal her. Karen also helped us organise our transfer with a local company and Terry the driver was brilliant, a great guy and very helpful
We only stayed a week and there is enough choice of restaurants to visit. The best one we found was at the end of the street, over the road on the zebra crossing.(sorry forgot name!) Great food and service and no hassling to get you in the restaurant!
We will book to go again. Thanks again Karen

Just back from spending a wonderful week in this lovely, quiet apartment, which is right in the heart of Los Gigantes. On arrival, we found the apartment to be very clean and well equipped with everything we needed for a great stay. Loved waking up in the morning with a cup of tea in bed looking out at the amazing sea view! Most mornings had breakfast on the terrace which we found to be very quiet and private with great views of the harbour, sea and cliffs. Made great use of the terrace for sunbathing on the really comfortable sunloungers and great to have fridge with cold beer and wine within easy reach! Bedrooms and bathrooms great, particularly the shower. Comfortable lounge with amazing views (think we might have mentioned the amazing views already..!) In a previous review, think someone mentioned poor reception on TV but this seems to have been resolved as picture very clear now. Restaurants, supermarket, shops all within 200 yards or so from the apartment. We ate out most nights and found quality of the food everywhere was outstanding, particularly the Italian restaurant on the corner which I think has changed its name from Little Italy to Tamara. Went on a boat trip from the harbour to see Dolphins and Whales and, yes, we actually did see them! Was a really great experience. Hired a small car to get around for sightseeing and to and from the airport, although you don't really need a car as there seems to be a good bus service. All in all, a great week away and came back with batteries fully recharged. Looking forward to our next visit!
Our stay in the apartment was first class. The apartment was exactly as described, exceptionally clean with all the things you need to make it a home from home. We stayed for 2 weeks and not only were the bedding & towels changed after a week, but Monika gave the apartment a good clean too. She was very helpful advising us on local amenities. The views from the balcony can only be described as stunning - the photos simply do not do it justice. The balcony has 4 sunloungers and a table and 4 chairs for 'al-fresco' dining and gets the sun from about 10.30 in the morning till it sets over the sea. The retractable sun-awning came in useful as it can get quite hot there. We regularly heard the dolphins at night as we sat to end the day with an ice cool G&T and on one evening we saw dolphins swiming near to the harbour. The only downside of the apartment (which didn't affect us as we didn't use it - we were on holiday!) was the quality of TV reception, it was a bit snowy. The pool was very good, one of the few in the area to have grass around it as opposed to concrete, although there were no loungers specifically allocated to the apartment, we managed to find some others around the pool to use free of charge - another bonus. The views of the cliffs and the sea made it extra special.
Los Gigantes itself is a quieter resort with numerous restaurants and bars many providing live entertainment every night. There are no 'lager louts' and we were happy to let our 14 year old daughter and her friend wander around in the evening on their own. Close by is the resort of Puerto de Santiago - a 5 min drive away. This was where the nearest beach was, as unfortunately the beach at Los Gigantes was closed due to a rock fall in November last year, hopefully it should be open again soon. A car is not essential but advisable, a drive through the hills to Masca and beyond is well worth it but I hope you don't meet a bus coming the other way like we did! A trip to Mount Teide is a must, but be warned the cable car to the top is 25 euro for an adult. We took in the Siam water park, a great day and worthwhile booking online in the UK to save you a few pounds. Los Cristanos & Playa de Fanabe are only about 40 mins drive away and worth a visit. The highlight was the boat trip to see the pilot whales and dolphins and snorkeling with the fishes in Masca bay. We would definately recommend this aprtment and Los Gigantes to anyone and we hope you have the best time, just like we did."
My wife and I enjoyed our stay very much in this Apartment.
It fulfilled the expectations according to the descriptions.
In no way we are disappointed. The owner is very correct and very helpful.
If you like a stay very close to the harbour and to the tourist centre with all kinds of shops and restaurants, but nevertheless not too noisy, this is the place to be!

Stayed over Christmas and NewYear and found the apartment to be a clean, comfortable and well equipped in an ideal location.
The weather was warm and sunny ( 24 degrees celcius) for 8 out of the 10 days so satisfied our requirment of looking for a warm destination for the Christmas holidays to relax in.
Los Gigantes seems to be very popular with families and expats so expect to find a large number of English and German restaurants, unfortunatly not too many authentic Spanish options although the staff everywhere were particularly friendly.
Karen the owner, went to a lot of trouble to suggest Spanish villages and restaurants we may enjoy and also recommended a very good local transfer company which took the stress out of having to get a taxi both ways.
I stayed in this lovely apartment with my cousin and her daughter for two weeks at the beginning of November 2009.
The property lived up to it's description, and there were really no drawbacks. The views from the two sets of patio windows in the sitting room were indeed stunning, overlooking the busy marina and the cliffs in one direction, and over to La Gomera and the sunset in the other.
The terraces were very private and quiet, and although the sun was lower in November, it shone more than enough on the large terrace for the three of us to sunbathe.
The bedrooms and bathrooms are spacious and it was all very clean. It is a very comfortable apartment, supplying everything you could possibly need.
It is near the shops and restaurants, and we could have gone to the one at the end of the cul-de-sac "Little Italy" every night and still had a different meal. The food was excellent.
The Harbour Club is a great place for a night out - food and entertainment all evening for a very reasonable price.
However, it's best to go over to the next resort Puerto Santiago, for a supermarket as the local one is rather expensive!
We could see the boats going out on their whale watching cruises from the terrace, and there was always something to see.
There is a new Tourist Information office at the end of the road, which we found very helpful for bus information, not having a car. We went on the local air conditioned buses to Los Christianos one day, and Puerto de la Cruz on another, and the tickets were no more than 5 Euros return!!!
We had a really wonderful holiday at this apartment, and the owner is a pleasure to deal with, as is the Manager of the property in Los Gigantes.
We would love to visit again, but hope this review doesn't mean it's booked up............
