My wife and I went to Villa Persephone for a quiet get away. We certainly achieved that. The villa was lovely and the outside pool area fabulous, and, even if the water was a little cool it certainly didn’t stop us going in most days. Must go back in August when I am sure it will be warmer. The supermarket and Tavernas were well within a comfortable walking distance and Supermarket Aphrodite’s pastries each morning were worth the walk. I can also recommend Taverna Vitamins for its warm and friendly atmosphere. A week well spent in Corfu.

Spacious 2 bed villa with lovely infinity pool overlooking cliff top. Well equipped and ideal location for exploring the area with good tavernas in easy walking distance and a pretty pebble beach at Kaminaki again a short walk away if you have the stamina for the steep incline!

Signage for villa is small and easy to miss especially in the dark and driveway is very steep but once we got the hang of it we were fine.

When we arrived at Persephone, we immediately felt relaxed and happy, we breathed a deep sigh as we walked around the outside of the villa and a felt a huge smile on our faces as we came upon the pool and the spectacular views from it across the bay of Corfu - a real WOW moment. Immediately we knew we were going to have a wonderful time here, looking at those views every day. Being at the back of the villa, and away from the neighbours, we had privacy to sunbathe and play music at our leisure.

The inside of the villa provides everything we needed too to be comfortable. We appreciated the air-conditioning in our bedroom. The TV in the sitting room was a good size and provided some English speaking channels including BBC World News.

The kitchen was perfectly functional, with a large fridge / freezer, microwave and toaster. It was very nice to have the cleaner and the pool man regularly attend.

An added benefit is that the villa is within 15 easy walking minutes from 3 fine restaurants and a great cocktail bar/taverna. Perfect for drinking and not driving!

Overall the 9 days we spent here were wonderful. We highly recommend the villa to new guests and sincerely hope to return one day.

The location, the pool and view are fantastic!!!

Excellent, very private. The only slight problem was that it was difficult to park on the designated parking area due to the slope and on a blind bend in the road.
