Beautiful 3 bedroom cottage with amazing views of the ocean and backing onto rolling PEI farmland. One of PEI's longest and nicest beaches is just a short 5 minute walk from the cottage. The coastline features amazing sand dunes, red cliffs, sea ponds and beautiful clean shoreline. This area of PEI is renowned for its rolling hills, patchwork fields and long beaches. Wonderful biking trails, golf courses and quaint towns can be explored close by. Enjoy long walks on the beach, swim, play in the sand or just sit back and relax as you listen to the ocean. After watching a spectacular sunset over the fields, star gaze at the night sky by a fire on the beach or at the cottage. A fire pit is provided at the cottage and firewood is available for purchase close by.
The front of the cottage is an open-concept design and features a large modern kitchen, dining room and living area. The cottage has many windows with great views and is very bright.
Two of the three bedrooms have queen-size beds and the 3rd bedroom has a double bed..
The cottage is fully equipped including a dishwasher, a washer and dryer. Bedding, shower and beach towels are provided and beach chairs, games and videos are available for your use.
The deck is complete with patio furniture and a propane barbecue. From here you can enjoy the ocean and field views. An outdoor shower is found on the side of the cottage.
No smoking is permitted in the cottage.
Golfing And Fishing
PEI has been ranked as Canada's #1 golf destination, with more than 25 stunning courses.
There are various deep sea fishing guides found just a short distance from the cottage as well.
The Sea View beach is one of the most spectacular on the island, it connects to other picturesque beaches making it one long beach, many kms long, to roam, swim, explore and play.
Explore the red roads nearby where the tilled farmers' fields resemble patchwork quilts with views of the sandy beaches making for spectacular scenery.
Cavendish is only a 20 minute drive away where you will find many 'Anne' sites, amusement parks and the Cavendish National Park. Excellent biking trails alongside the ocean and by farmer's fields can be found here as well.
Charlottetown, the capital of PEI, is only 40 minutes away. This city is beautiful with many old historic houses, a wonderful selection of fine dining, bars, live entertainment, farmer's markets and is home to the Confederation Centre of the Arts with numerous live performances.
There is a fish market close to the cottage. Kensington is only 10 minutes away and Summerside 20 minutes where you will find groceries and other shopping, as well as local events and markets. Parking for the Confederation bike trail is available in both Kensington and Summerside as well.
The cottage is only about 35 minutes from the confederation bridge and the shops of Gateway Village.
