What a special property. It's completely private in the walled oasis, and the salt water pool is just lovely. We lived outside in the shade under the roof, and in the sun on the pool deck, and used the tiki bar every day as the outdoor kitchen.
The inside was perfectly serviceable and the kitchen very adequately equipped . Our hosts very kindly left a generous supply of starter snacks and drinks, as well as basic supplies like dish soap, paper towels, coffee filters, etc.
A few notes - you need a car. You can walk to water views and even placed to climb in to snorkle, but you really have to drive to the beach. Beaches, I should say. We saw and hung out on many really spectacular ones down on the south end and all are about a 15 minute drive.
Savaneta is a fishing village with limited resources and restaurants. You can do very well, but if you expect continental or American style you'll have to drive 10-20 minutes (lots of variety) to the north. The local selection has a lot to offer, fresh fish being the best among the choices! The grocery stores are plentiful and there's lots to come back to your private oasis and grill a nice meal in the tiki bar.
Debbie and Patrick couldn't have been kinder, more accommodating hosts! They were accessible without invading our privacy in any way, and were very responsive to any small issue that might arise.
All in all -- a lovely, private, wonderful stay! Would suit two couples or a family very nicely, and completely special just for my husband and me.
