O anexo a Casa das Flores, uma quinta encantadoramente remodelado, está tranquilamente localizado nas colinas verdes 10 km ao norte da cidade de Loulé mercado. Ele está situado a apenas 30 minutos do aeroporto de Faro e as belas praias do Algarve. O anexo é totalmente privado e auto-contido com piscina privada para uso exclusivo dos hóspedes, terraço e jardins. O anexo tem a sua própria entrada com mesa e cadeiras para 4 sob a sombra de uma amendoeira. Há uma área de churrasco, com muito espaço e assentos para refeições ao ar livre. Se você quiser ficar longe de tudo e desfrutar de umas férias tranquilas no real Algarve, no sol, mas longe do bulício da costa, este é o lugar para você. O proprietário mora na fazenda ao lado e está à disposição caso necessário. Para umas férias auto-atendimento com pessoal na assistência lado, se necessário, você pode fazer melhor do que Casa das Flores.
Merveilleux endroit pour se ressourcer loin des tumultes de la côte et à la fois une bonne base arrière pour découvrir l'Algarve. Description fidèle à la réalité, accueil très chaleureux, Ann est une merveilleuse hôte, rien ne manque jusqu'au boissons et aliments qui vous attendent à votre arrivée. Propreté et entretien impeccable. Un séjour vraiment inoubliable pour les petits et les grands avec un climat exceptionnel chaque jour. Nous recommandons vivement cet location à tous les amoureux de la nature et du calme.

We had a very relaxing and enjoyable time at Casa das Flores.
Our journey from the airport went smoothly thanks to the detailed directions that we were given. On arriving at the property we immediately realised what a great choice we had made. In fact we felt that the photographs hadn’t done the property justice.
Ann, the owner of the property had kindly provided a superb welcome pack of goods which meant that we didn’t have to worry about going out to buy supplies on our first evening. She was also able to give us hints and tips about the local area as required. We were made to feel very welcome indeed.
The cottage is compact, ideal for a couple or a small family. It is homely, comfortable and spotlessly clean.
The garden is extensive, with citrus and almond trees and of course a pool which is for the sole use of guests. From the front of the property there are amazing views over the valley, from the rear there are equally spectacular views of the hillsides. These hills are accessible via a series of well defined tracks, great for those who enjoy walking in the countryside.
The historic town of Loule is only a short drive away, ideal for browsing around markets or buying supplies from a choice of supermarkets. The beaches of the Algarve are also only a short drive away.
We would certainly recommend this property and immediate area to anyone who likes to holiday away from the main package trail.
This is my first review of this lovely property. However we do stay here for years already and always come back.
The cottage is part of a beautiful farm house and has private acces. It is suitable for a family of 4: a small living area with an open kitchen, one bedroom with twin beds and one with a queen size bed, a bathroom with toilet and shower. The bathroom has been renovated this year which I consider a great improvement. The cottage is clean and cozy and it contains everything one need during a holiday.
This beautiful house is situated on a hill top in a very quiet and peaceful area with a 20 minutes drive from Faro airport, 10 minutes drive to Loulé and 30 minutes to the nearest beaches. You do need a car.
The outside area contains of a big garden, several terraces, one with a barbecue and a private pool area.
At early mornings and evenings it is lovely and cool outside. During day time it can be very hot. However due to the tick walls the temperature in the house remains very comfortable.
Ann Looy, the owner is a true host and she became a good friend.
It always feels like home away from home.

This is a property to rent if you are interested in getting away from the tourist track. Total peace and quiet is what you will get both during the day and at night with uninterrupted views of the hills and the stars.
The property is a good size for one couple or a small family. The internal living area is not the largest but the outside areas are brilliant. A very good sized swimming pool and garden area perfect for eating outside and Barbecuing.
Ann the owner was lovely and welcoming, and nothing was to much for her. She had a good knowledge of the area recommending must visit restaurants such as Hambargo in Benafim the chicken place in salir and Monte de eira which is a delight.
The property is a 30 minute drive away from the beach resorts. A car is a must.
The only negative there was about the holiday, was that there was no constant Wifi, Ann has pay as you go internet which she will gladly turn on when and if you require it but i would not feel right using it for a extended time. I add this info Just if you require alot of internet access due to work commitments.

Located in Cerro das Covas, a very small hamlet near Funchais/Tor, which is just north of Loule, the house had everything in it that you could wish - an amazingly complete inventory! We did not need to dash out to the supermarket as soon as we arrived for breakfast the next day as we were greeted with an amazing welcome pack, which we were still trying to get through on our last day! We found this farmhouse surpassed our expectations and the very friendly owner, Ann was extremely helpful before and during our stay.
There was extensive tourist literature available plus wireless internet and our young children were happy to be able to watch their BBC children’s programmes via satellite. A selection of books, DVDs, CDs and board games were to be found in the living/kitchen area and the annexe has a well-stocked bathroom (shampoo/soap/towels/flannels included). There are two bedrooms (one twin and one double bedroom) with very comfortable beds and fans available. The swimming pool was immaculately clean (thanks to Ann) and there was a large selection of flotation aids/water toys for our children. Two large parasols and four comfortable loungers made it the perfect setting for lazy days in the sun, and two BBQs (complete with coal & lighters) were just a stroll away from the large pool terrace.
Ann was also on hand to offer any advice for day trips or questions that we had. Anne lives in the main farmhouse which is at the front side of the building, so the annexe is totally secluded and as guests you have sole use of the pool and rear garden areas. We also breakfasted daily outside the separate entrance to the annexe, where an additional table with chairs and a parasol have been thoughtfully placed. Ann has certainly gone to a good deal of trouble to assure that all her guests have a perfect holiday during their stay.
There is a mini-market in nearby Salir with larger supermarkets in Loule (15 minute drive away). Several markets held on Saturday in Loule are well worth visiting – a central market for fresh fish, vegetables, fruit, bread and local craftsmanship, and a Gypsy market for a much wider selection of goods.
Near to the farmhouse are many walking trails into the surrounding hills as well, and the A22 motorway is easily accessible just south of Loule, which made it very easy to reach the coast, and it was less than half an hour to Faro airport.
We would not hesitate in recommending ‘Casa das Flores’ for the perfect stay in the real Algarve!
Tor é uma aldeia rural típica Português com uma igreja, uma loja e um monte de charme. Ele fica em uma colina com um rio que atravessa o vale nas proximidades, que é ótimo para caminhadas, natação, observação de aves e explorar. Funchais é uma aldeia da periferia de Tor com dois cafés e Cerro das Covas é um charmoso vilarejo até a colina de lá. A cidade de Loulé está a 15 minutos de carro. Tem muitos restaurantes maravilhosos, pegue recortes e supermercados. Loule tem um mercado cigano todos os sábados que vendem de tudo, desde camisetas, de sapatos, de toalhas de mesa e é um ótimo lugar para comprar lembranças e fazer algumas discussões para um bom negócio. Há um mercado de peixe vivo, carne e vegetais todos os dias úteis. Salir é uma aldeia branca 7 kms a norte com casas atraentes, os restos de um castelo e alguns ótimos restaurantes portugueses. Ele tem um banco, um bom supermercado e uma loja de chá.
