Great Value, Exceeded Expectations

I found this rental property online. After corresponding with the owner, Tim, and sending a friend in Barbados to check it out, I decided to book 12 days, for myself, my girlfriend and my mother. Despite not knowing the exact location beforehand, we were all happy upon arrival. The property was exactly as shown online. In fact it was larger than we expected. The property was very clean and well stocked with cookware, dishes, cutlery, and linens. It was also great having a local phone, a flat screen TV with satellite, a nice stereo system, and of course, wifi. As stated by others, it's a 20min walk from busy Rockley Beach, some days we wished it was a bit closer, but a cheap cab ride can always fix that. Dealing with the owner Tim was a complete joy. He was always quick to respond and even went to the trouble of mailing info and a map from England to my home in Canada, before we left! Dealing with his agent in Barbados, Brian, was also easy and awesome. I would definitely recommend this place to family and friends looking for a place to stay in Barbados.

A Home from Home - Great holiday rental

I stayed at 3 Spring Court in January 14 for 2.5 weeks with both my Mum and my Son aged 2 ½. We had an absolutely amazing holiday. We are regulars to Barbados and would highly recommend this accommodation having stayed at many places on the South coast. It’s a real home from home and ideal for the independent traveler. Near to everything you need but far enough away down a very quiet residential road to be very peaceful. The local Rockley area has plentiful shops, supermarkets bars and restaurants.

The townhouse itself has everything you need for a comfortable stay (beds comfy, lots of towels, linen etc) and the local property managers; Brian and his wife Luana are there to assist with anything you need when on the island. The property is spacious, clean and modern – A/C when needed works really well but the ceiling fans do the trick most of the time. Dishwasher was a treat for us.

The pool area is lovely, very quiet, almost as though it’s just for you (and the local Monkeys that parade through every day!).

You are only a few minute’s drive down to the beach or a 15/20 minute walk. We had a car for part of our stay as I like to do a lot of exploring (and which I would recommend with young children or for the less energetic) however the walk to the beach (20 mins) or to the local bus (10 mins) is totally do-able – it just takes a little longer with a 2 year old stopping to examine every tree/house!! As an alternative taxi’s are also relatively inexpensive – in future we will find a local driver and negotiate for him/her to be on the end of the phone to help during our stay then enjoy the best of both worlds – walking/busing or taking a taxi when needed as this is cheaper than car rental. Highly recommend this place – we will be back!

Unable to take up reservation

Unfortunately we were unable to take up our reservation for July but I was very happy (especially as I have worked in the Hotel industry for many years!) with the way our deposit was handled and returned to us without hesitation. I very much look forward to dealing with these owners again in the future.

A little haven in the sun

Stayed with my wife and two friends for 2 weeks. from the outset all dealings with Tim were excellent, prompt, accurate and helpful. He supplied advice on places to eat, car hire, what to take etc. These dealings helped to reassure us that the property would be as described and this proved the case.

The property itself is clean, spacious and comfortable. The pool area is small but perfect for days when you do not fancy one of the many beaches. The two bedrooms are large, with good a/c units. The beds are on the hard side, but again that would be a personal taste thing. Nothing spoilt our stay. The other residents in the complex were great, all friendly and helpful.

The walk to Rockley and the beach is about 20 minutes or so, and is a pleasant stroll, safe at all times, and its nice to chat to the locals who all pass the time of day with you. Shakers restaurant is very close by. We ate here 3 times, excellent food, great value, great hosts but you may have to book as it gets busy.

Topcar rentals are just along the road. Great little company, nothing too much trouble and the deliver the car to you ! We hired a car for 9 days and saw a fair bit of the island. Crane Beach and Bathsheba are fantastic, Sandy Bay at Worthing amazing, Harrisons Caves worth a trip.

If you are going to do a turtle trip check out Cliff Sharker. Charles and Lars are amazing.

All in all Barbados was a dream trip for us, much better than St Lucia the year before. Tim and his professional approach made our stay perfect, and i think we will be back very soon. If you want somewhere quiet and away from the crowds please give this a go.

Great Vacation!

My boyfriend and I decided to try Barbados for our first time this Summer and found this property online. Since the first email I sent Tim about the condo, he's been nothing but amazing. Very helpful in regards to answering my questions about Barbados, the condo, the area, and things to expect.

The condo was very clean and comfortable. More space than the two of us needed, but it was amazing! Everything is very organized and easy to find. The property was situated off the main roads so it was nice and quiet. The condo is exactly how it is shown in the photos. It was an excellent choice, you won't be let down.

The neighbors in the complex are friendly and helpful as well. They were always there to give us a suggestion for a restaurant or other activities.

All in all I can say I would recommend this property for anyone who's looking for a quiet relaxing place to spend your time. It's a hop, skip, and a jump away from tons of restaurants, bars, and the beach, but far enough you get peace and quiet whether at night or during the day relaxing at the pool.

We know we will return to this property, next time with friends. It was a fantastic vacation!

Comfortable, Clean, Great Location

We stayed here recently and LOVED it. We have been to Barbados many times (my husband and I together, 13 times LOL). This trip was made up of myself, my husband, my brother, his wife and their 4 year old son.

The accommodations were very comfortable and the location was great. We had a car, but there were others staying in the complex who didn't have one and were fine walking out the main road to catch a ZR (local transportation).

We enjoyed the pool a few times and also BBQ'ing on our patio (fresh fish from the Oistens fish market). We love being able to prepare our own meals and relaxing. Lovely Bajan evenings spent on the patio, sipping rum and coconut water (this can be purchased at roadside stands - fresh jugs available most days) and listening to the peepers.

The daily monkey parade was also amusing - one day, one even sat on the kitchen window sill peering inside!

Brian and Luana were great helping us get situated.

Things to try: Mr Tee's Donuts (OMG!); lunch from the counter at Big B's; sushi night at Cafe Luna (Little Arches); fishcakes from Mr. Delicious food truck on Enterprise/Miami Beach; delicious lunches from the lady at the end stall at Dover Beach (her chicken soup is amazing!); chicken and chips from Chicken Rita's rum shack; sailing on Silver Moon and oh so much more.

If you enjoy being carefree and not being on a schedule, this is the place for you!
