Private Beachfront Paradise

Wow! All I can say is breathtaking!! This was our first time to Exuma. This home has a beautiful view of the water. We loved the sizable/private beach which we spent a lot of time. Very spacious for our family and the owner made sure that we were taken care of. We looked at a lot of homes on this island and this particular home stood out to us because of the views and the private beach. The only negative thing that I can say is that our stay was not long enough. Even though we just left, we can't wait to go back to Exuma! With that said, we are making plans to return.

Splendid Property!! Will be back next year!

This was our first time to Exuma. I must say I was a little reluctant at first, but I came to realize that it was a bit exaggerated. The home was exquisitely beautiful! It was that and more!! The property did not disappoint. My husband and I really enjoyed the Jacuzzi tub in the master bathroom. Truly relaxing after a wonderful day on the private beach with our family. The beach is very accessible in front of the home. We enjoyed early morning walks on the beach and we didn’t have to worry about the crowds. We had it all to ourselves. The kitchen had state-of-the-art appliances of which we did several family dinners. We felt that the home was very comfortable our entire time. We had no issues. I give this home 5 stars and I have already booked for next year. Thank you Mr. Haney for a memorable time!!

Just okay...

Just returned from Christmas trip with family...the home was just okay for the price we paid. The decor is dated, kitchen not well equipped for the number of people it sleeps, sheets poor quality, refrigerator did not cool properly so food spoiled, many burned out light bulbs upon arrival, etc, etc. We did have a workman come in to change light bulbs and fix refrig...but it didn't work. Called again but no return visit. I also want to note that there are 7 bedrooms(2 had no curtains on windows) and 5 bathrooms...of which only 3 bathrooms have showers...so we did a lot of sharing of showers. I would also note that the photos make the home look as though it is on a beach where you can stroll. It is not...there is a very small beach area in front of the home that is not easy to access and it mostly underwater unless low tide...and then it not that walkable. There is a path to a neighboring beach which is better but we chose the house for what we thought was an easily accessible beach for my 88 year old mother. So not terrible...just okay....disappointing for several in our group.

Exceptional property!!! Have plans to return next year

Initially we had reservations given the previous review….however to our surprise…, the house was exceptionally clean and well appointed. My husband and I even used the jacuzzi one evening to relax and catch up with our day, and to plan activities for the next day. I must admit, I would not have thought to use it had a Reviewer not mentioned it😊. Our visit was worry free. We did not experience any of the problems in the previous review . Everything was in great working condition. My husband was concerned about the water pressure, however upon our arrival, he showered and reported no issues with the water pressure. In fact he complimented that great care and concern for this property was very evident . We were here to relax and unwind and this property with it’s amazing oceanfront views allowed us to do just that! Thank goodness we had no issues with water pressure or anything else for that fact. Our only concern was that that our stay was too short. Love, love , loved this rental. Again, we’ve already confirmed our next stay!! Mk &. Family

Beautiful House, but!

A beautiful house, obviously built to the highest standards. All high end appliances. Well furnished, obviously plenty of room. That said, having rented in Bahamas for 20 years, some problem areas that were disappointing. Shower in master bath did not work at all. Only a trickle of water coming from said shower. Thought maybe shower head plugged. No, just no pressure at all! Three of the four bathrooms have very beautiful jacuzzi tubs, which, in our opinion are totally non functional in the Bahamas. Do not believe most people want a hot bath in the Bahamas! Air conditioning in several bedrooms was not acceptable. Some registers not flowing any cool air at all. A/C guy came, acknowleged this, but had no answers. Suggested blockage in ducting. Trash pickup a problem, as one plastic barrel the only trash barrel . Had to pick up trash twice after dogs got into it. Would love to be able to give five stars all around, however, cannot overlook these problem areas.
