Below you will find details about our 2 bed/ 1 bath home, PB Boardwalk Oceanfront View Condo, located in the Ocean Point complex on the water in Pacific Beach.

PB Boardwalk Oceanfront View Condo is located on the Pacific Beach boardwalk across from the Crystal Pier. On the ground level is the community pool and hot tub. There is also a lounging area, gas BBQ and each condo has an individual parking space in the underground parking garage. Surfers provide sunup to sundown entertainment from the comfort of your recliner. Do not forget your camera to capture the picture-perfect sunsets!

Enjoy stunning views from this condo's light and airy 3rd floor corner ocean view condo. Take in the gorgeous sunsets from the west windows that overlook the ocean, beach, and boardwalk. Don't forget the view you will see through the north windows of the hills of La Jolla! The kitchen has hardwood cabinets, marble countertops, stainless steel appliances, and waterproof luxury wood look vinyl floors throughout the unit. All new furniture features a king size bed in the master bedroom and a flat screen TV. The second bedroom also has a king bed along with a vanity with a sink and mirror. A top-of-the-line queen sofa bed offers additional sleeping space in the living room if needed. The living room has a NEW electric fireplace for cooler nights in!

Included with the condo are beach chairs, towels, beach umbrellas, and boogie boards found in the garage storage cabinet. There is a large coin operated laundry room where you can do all your laundry at once and save time. The condo building, including garage, is secure and requires a key or remote garage door opener for entry.

The convenient location is 2 miles from SeaWorld, 3 miles from Old Town, and just 7-9 miles from the Gaslamp District, Little Italy, and the world-famous San Diego Zoo in lovely Balboa Park. Come enjoy all San Diego has to offer along with the best weather in the nation!

Vacation rentals in San Diego are for the most part, second homes for the owners. Therefore, some furniture or decor may differ from what is pictured because the owners needed or wanted to replace something. Professional photos are expensive and we cannot re-photograph the rental every time something is changed but we do maintain the listing content with any notable furnishing changes especially related to sleeping arrangements. (*Please note: We do not give refunds because a piece of furniture or artwork has changed)

*NOTE: This home is in a residential neighborhood and, as such, is a NOISE SENSITIVE property. Respect must be always shown for the property and neighbors. No loud music, parties, and or loud talking outside after 9 pm. Violation of these rules MAY result in immediate eviction from the property per your rental agreement, and/or fines from the San Diego Police. Please review your rental agreement for complete details and rules about your home!

It is important for you to read all the details about your property. We highlight everything you need to know about your vacation rental in our listing, through emails, some home manuals, in-home signage, and phone correspondence. We want our guests to feel prepared, informed and at ease while staying with us. We are always available if you have questions!

Upon confirming your booking, we will send you a rental agreement for your upcoming stay which you will need to complete. We will also contact you within 24 hours of the booking to obtain contact information and to address any questions or concerns you may have regarding your upcoming visit along with the House Rules & Rental Agreement. The check-in details will not be shared until the rental agreement has been signed.

Attention Guests: In addition to completing our electronic rental agreement, you will also be required to participate in our identity verification process. The service is offered through Autohost; an intelligent guest screening software that automates ID verifications, background and credit checks, security deposits and more, helping to improve guest experience and safety. Please note: for the credit card verification, a $2 hold will be placed on the card to run the report. This hold will never process and will fall off automatically within 7 days. Please contact us with any questions.

If you have never stayed in a vacation rental before, we are not a hotel, WE ARE BETTER! We offer many of the same luxuries of a hotel with the comfort and space of home to share with your whole family. Our property owners are our friends, and we work with each owner to offer a special, specific, and ideal environment for guests to experience and enjoy. All our homes offer similar amenities so you can expect the same experience whenever staying with us.

With that said, we need you to do your part in helping us maintain each home. Please be attentive to ALL RESPONSIBILITIES as a guest of our home. Trash/Recycling, Check-out duties, Communication to management and Care of the home all help us give each guest and family a home to feel at home in. We appreciate your assistance in making our homes and our business unlike any other!

We like our guests to feel at home as soon as they arrive! We provide a 'starter kit' to help our guests get settled without needing to rush off to the store. Our kits include: paper towels, toilet paper, shampoo/conditioner, soap, linens, towels, kitchen sponges, dish soap, laundry detergent and fabric softener, dishwasher soap when applicable, trash bags, either Keurig coffee makers with k-cups or standard coffee makers, extra blankets, sometimes extra pillows, extra sheets-for sleeper sofas, hair dryers, ironing boards, kitchens fully stocked-enough for max occupancy with some extra settings, toasters, some waffle makers, blenders, tool kits, first aid kits, fire extinguishers, co2/fire detectors, and most homes have heat available.

While on vacation, we want our guests to enjoy their vacation to the fullest and we feel in order for our guests to do this, they should also feel informed. Our emails serve to educate you on your vacation rental home, the surrounding area, responsibilities, what to expect and how to get in touch with us. We respect your privacy, so our emails help provide you with all you need to know to reference as you please.

In addition, most of our properties have House Manuals detailing specific information about the property, amenities, and responsibilities. Not to mention an awesome section on attractions, events, restaurants and more to help guide you during your stay in San Diego!

Please note our policies:

Holiday 2024 Policy:
6 night minimum AND Saturday check-in is REQUIRED during our holiday season (December 21-January 4). One reservation CANNOT take both holidays, unless it is a 2-week reservation. There are no arrivals OR departures on Christmas or New Year's Day.
*An arrival on a Friday or Sunday may be possible, please inquire if your group needs accommodations that are different as we may be able to accommodate you!

Summer 2024 Policy:
Beginning Memorial Day to Labor Day, Saturday to Saturday is required with 6-7 night reservations. On July 4th 2024, check-in or check-out is NOT permitted. An arrival on a Friday or Sunday may be possible, please inquire if your group needs accommodations that are different as we may be able to accommodate you.

Last Minute Booking Policy:
If a guest books with us directly or on any OTA such as Airbnb and VRBO, within 72 hours of arrival, verification credentials are required. By making a payment on the reservation, the guest agrees to comply with our last minute booking policy.

To properly vet a guest with such short notice requires the following; a “selfie” photo specifically of the booking guest's face and holding either a Driver's License, Passport or State ID photo under their chin. We are just looking for a name to match and the photo on the ID to match that of the person in the selfie. This can be sent by email or text to our company email address. Additionally, we need to confirm guest details such as, payment, contact information, applicable check-in time, number of guests and ages, any pets, etc.

This process is required, and if a guest refuses to comply then the reservation will be canceled. We have found this procedure to be successful in avoiding fraud, and protecting all parties! We appreciate your cooperation and we are available to help with any questions.

Nightly Minimum Policy:
6 night minimum required in the off season.
6 night AND a Saturday Check-in is REQUIRED during peak season (June - August). Arrival on Friday or Sunday instead may be an option.
(Please inquire if your group needs accommodations that are different as we may be able to accommodate you!)

Departure Policy:
Check in time is 3 pm and strictly enforced. (From Memorial Day through Labor Day, check-in is at 4pm)
Check out time is 11 am.

Please follow all instructions for your arrival and departure in our email and phone call correspondence. There is signage around the home to assist with the use of amenities and questions that you may have during your stay. We are available too, even after hours-give us a call!

Pet Policy: Pets are NOT permitted.

Rate Policy: Prices change on a daily basis so the rates you see today may be higher or lower when booking!

Age Policy: We do not typically rent to guests under the age of 25 or large parties. Please contact us prior to booking to see how we may accommodate your group.

Best location!
We loved our stay and everything about this 3rd floor beachfront condo. Location, location, location says it all. We walked on the beach every morning, lots of coffee shops, restaurants and stores all within a short walk. It was nice to have underground secure parking and the sunset views were amazing. The bedrooms were comfy and cozy, nice to have a fireplace and the kitchen was stocked with everything needed to make meals or just warm up leftovers. Keyless entry worked great and communication with our host was great! We have already recommended to a couple of friends and we would love to come back. Thank you for everything!

Home Away from Home
This might be our favorite beach trip yet. We’ve been traveling to Pacific Beach for the last decade, staying between other VRBO and hotels. My husband and I agreed this was the best property so far, and the most relaxed we’ve been. About us: 4 in our party—parents and 2 kids. I do think this property could easily fit 5 people, maybe even 6. The “starter” kit provided by the rental agency lasted our family the entire trip. There was plenty of hot water for everyone to shower. Very family friendly property with games, books, DVDs. Some things of note for future travelers, the beds were firm, as were the pillows. If you prefer more cushion, you might want to bring stuff from home. They aren’t joking with parking—the garage is typical for this beachfront area. Very tight, both height and width of spaces. Our Honda Pilot fit, but barely. It’s $3 to wash and dry a load of laundry, in quarters. However, many of the places nearby are cashless. Also, there are only 4 beach towels. Not a huge deal, until one of your kids drops two in icky water. Overall, very satisfied with our trip and plan to return next year!

Beach trip
Overall very good experience. The unit we stayed in was in very good condition. The building was fair. But a great location. Great views of the beach. The staff at Nancy’s vacation rental was excellent and helpful. The only drawback was the hot tub is broken and from talking to residents, it’s not worked in a long time. I feel that should have been disclosed, as it is a important feature of where I book
