This remodeled 1 bedroom/1 bathroom unit is spacious and a great place to say with easy access to year-round activities. The free green line shuttle travels to the Eagle Lodge and the Village. Shops, restaurants, and hiking and biking trails are within walking distance. Snowcreek Golf Course is a quick 4-minute drive away.

A mudroom wall is available to the left upon entry. Hang your coats and set your winter gear down before walking into a cozy living room. There is a flat screen TV, cable, DVD/Blue Ray player and a wood burning fireplace in the living room. Gather around for a night in with some hot chocolate. The couch also functions as a sofa sleeper for 2 guests. Firewood is provided in the patio area.

A fully-equipped kitchen is perfect for homemade meals. There is a toaster oven, drip coffee maker, pots/pans, wine opener and more. Enjoy a hearty breakfast before heading out onto the slopes. The dining table has seats for 6.

The master bedroom is furnished with a comfortable Queen bed and mounted TV. An alcove near the front of the home has a built-in Twin bunk bed built into the wall, great for the kids. A full bathroom is available for guests to share.

There are 2 outdoor parking spots with permits. The community sauna, hot tub, rec room, and laundry facilities are available year round. The recreation room has a ping pong table, pool table, and video games. The communal pool, tennis court, picnic area, and BBQ stations are only available during the summer.

THINGS TO NOTE:
- Commencing on April 22nd, all amenities (sauna, bathrooms, jacuzzi and laundry room) will not be operational during this time.
- The Horizons is not a pet friendly complex. ABSOLUTELY NO PETS ALLOWED. Next door neighbor lives there full time and will (and have) report any renters bringing pets with fines starting at $150-300 per day. Renters will be responsible for any fines incurred for violations of HOA rules.

**We highly suggest purchasing Travel Insurance during the winter season when weather and road conditions can be unpredictable. Please check the Division of Traffic websites and travel at your own risk. Without the purchase of Travel Insurance, your Vacation Home Rental Reservation cannot be canceled due to poor weather conditions.**

Solid place

Overall this is a solid option. Location in Old Mammoth works if you are good with driving or shuttling to the mountain. Apartment is clean and, shockingly, more updated than the pictures on the posting. Not sure how you remodel a kitchen completely and dont update the images, but just know that the kitchen is all new. Close to Vons & shuttle stops. If you're a light sleeper be aware that the ceiling is made of paper. If anyone is staying above you, a pin drop sounds like a bowling ball. I didnt mind, but I'm not a light sleeper. Bunk beds are fine, but as others have mentioned the top one is pretty unsafe without a railing. It is narrow and high, so I wouldnt sleep on it. Bunks are narrow but comfy, but would only use the bottom safely. Didnt love the lack of communication. Was told the chimney was covered in snow, and when I saw that the roofs were being cleared off I reached out several times to ask if mine was good to use and never got anything back. Keep in mind it was in the single digits, so a fire would have been nice. Finally decided the last night that it'd be OK and then realized that the lighter they gave was out of fuel and the matches were dried out so they wouldnt stay lit. So no fire/no response. But, to circle it back, it was a solid place that was comfortable and clean and had parking and a hot tub, etc so it certainly was worth staying in. Just wanted to be transparent for future renters and for property managers to know where improvement is possible.

TERRIBLE!!! TERRIBLE!! DIRTY!!!They did not send any instruction how to properly check in, cause it was late night check in. Lately i found a letter with instruction in my spam folder. It's funny that the booking confirmation comes in a normal folder, but instruction go to spam., that's odd. So, in order to get our keys we have to go to the office, there're key box lockers, which couldn't open for about 20 minutes, cold, tired, we desperately asked them to send somebody to open a lock box and get the key from the room. Kids were crying, and it was the worse hotel/accommodation experience so far. If i could i'd take all stars from the review/

place is just ok

Location is great. Walking distance to shopping plaza (ie Von), restaurants, coffee shop. Neighborhood is quiet even if it was close to the main street. Very short drive to the village. Bathroom and kitchen were clean and fairly new. Updated appliances and clean. Plenty of plates and utensils to use. I would say the bathroom should have better lightning though, thinking how people with vision issues or elderly guest might have problem with dim lights. Otherwise, there's plenty of lighting in the kitchen, bedroom and living room. Wasn't sure how to work the thermostat. It looked like it was set on a certain temperature and we had trouble over riding or resetting it. There were some nights that it got warm and it was hard to sleep. Front door has 2 locks but it's super hard to lock the upper one from outside.; whenever we had to leave, we can only lock the bottom lock (door knob). We had to use a butter knife to assist in locking it from inside. Please wash or do something with the dining chairs- they have so much stains and it was kinda grossed sitting on something that has so much stains. We used the guest towels to cover them and not to sit directly on those ugly stains. The bunk bed is definitely not meant for tall guest. I'm petite and I still have to stoop lower so I don't bump my head on the bottom bed. The ladder should be flushed on one side and not in the middle of the bunk bed. It's inconvenient when you have to go in and out of the bed (bottom) because it gets in the way. Finally, please do something about the lock box. We are now in year 2021, there are digital lock box now that we can use. They have the most archaic lock box in the office and we had to call the customer service a few times because we just can't figure out the direction given on the sign. It's even harder than your typical school locker locks. Like I've said, it was very archaic. So don't arrive their to get your keys tired and hungry because it can take you a while to just get your key from the lock box unless you get there during office hours for a live person to help you out. Otherwise, we had an ok stay but might check out other places next time.

Good location

Great place, would stay again. Some fans would be great as there is no air flow even with windows open. You can hear every step from the neighbors upstairs every step!

Pretty good

I’ve stayed at this property many times. I have always had a 3:00 check in and an 11:00 checkout. I also have never paid for an early check in. I think the 50 dollar fee to check in 2 hours early is thievery! There is no sign that we saw that stipulates the combination locks don’t work until 4:00 exactly. I feel I should be able to be in my room at 4:00, you should let people access the keys at 3:45. Another thing, the deadbolt lock does not work! I would not recommend your company to anyone.
