Reva was a pleasure to work with for anything at anytime!! We absolutely loved staying in thier home. We were a family of 5 (included 2 teenagers, a senior citizen of 90, 2 dogs and my husband and I) everything was perfect! Place is EMACULATE. Plenty of room for all of us. Also house is close to town of Woodstock. The only thing I would suggest is to add another TV over the fireplace, Thank you Reva for letting us stay in your beautiful home!!
The home was a great spot to get away for a few nights. The location is quiet and peaceful yet not too far from Woodstock or Phoenicia. The home was even nicer than the pictures and everything was very clean. The kitchen had everything you might need and then some. The hot tub was a highlight especially after being outdoors so much. I would love to come back here again!
Absolutely beautiful home with great mountain views, surrounded by trees and wonderful sounds. The home is clean, spacious and filled with large windows, glass sliding doors, and skylights which allow the outside to come in. There are lovely furnishings and high end appliances throughout the home. The home is large and spacious with lots of beautiful wood and beams. The upstairs king suite is amazing, the bed and linens are extremely comfortable, and the view from this room with it's cathedral ceilings and glass doors leading out to a private deck, is truly magical. The bathroom in this suite is beautiful with a very cool shower. Beds throughout the home are extremely comfortable and have crisp bed linens. Reva is wonderful, extremely responsive and clearly cares about her home and her guests. She keeps generous essentials available for renters, more so than I've ever encountered in other rentals. It rained almost our entire stay which precluded our ability to use the very private outdoor hot tub and nearby hiking trails but the weather didn't prevent us from having a peaceful and serene vacation in this magical place. A true gem. We look forward to returning.
This is the perfect getaway! My partner and I recently stayed for the week with our two dogs and the house was amazing. We love to find somewhere to completely disconnect and not have to see any neighbors or houses. This is the perfect location, situated on a very private road leading to a very tranquil property...making you feel at home. The house is situated right between Woodstock and Phoenicia....two towns we frequent most. Make sure to check out some of the local restaurants and markets for farm fresh food or vegetables. Also, a short 1/2 mile walk down the road will lead to an amazing little swimming hole if you're staying in the summer.
The house itself is decorated nicely and has very open feel allowing for the mountain breeze to blow through. There was plenty of room to lounge in the first floor living space, walking directly into an open living room and leading to a nicely equipped kitchen with dining area. We typically have to pack half of our kitchen when renting other houses in the area, but this kitchen had it all! Clean pots & pans, plenty of kitchen utensils and nice a knife set made cooking delicious meals easy! The SONOS system throughout the first floor was a nicely added touch to listen to music either inside or out. The bedrooms were all a nice size and the master suite on the second floor made you never want to leave the very comfortable king size bed! Outside, was a very large rear deck with very comfortable outdoor furniture kept you outside most of the days. The hot tub was amazing after those long hikes! WIFI access for those of us who can't completely disconnect from work :)
Reva was easy to work with and responsive to emails (provides some great local recommendations). We highly recommend checking this place out - it's worth it!
Thanks Reva again for a great stay and can't wait to come back!

This house was the perfect Rx for a 5-day break. Uncluttered, super clean and attractive with comfortable seating and bedding. A huge, beautiful upstairs master's suite (check out the shower), a roomy double with couch and TV/screen on the main floor (wouldn't you really look out at the mountains and trees?) . Windows galore drawing the trees and mountains inside...There is also a two twin-bedded room with a washer-dryer inside one of the large closets. Plenty of space for everyone -- you will not be colliding into one another. Decking all around with a wonderful hot tub perched over the forest. The house is very private (no next door neighbors watching you float in the hot tub), yet very easy access to Woodstock (about 10 minutes) and neighboring towns. The kitchen is nicely stocked with quality cookware if you're so inclined. Lots of nice little touches like pantry items, 3 kinds of coffee makers and linens you just want to curl up in. And if you must check your email, the wifi works great. Hope to return.
What an amazing stay we had here. Two couples, an 11-month old, and a little dog spent the New Year's holiday weekend here. Evening's in the hot-tub, after a dinner prepared in the fully-stocked kitchen (the knife selection alone!...), and then a good night's sleep in some pretty darn comfy beds. It was all perfect. Clean, great lay-out, lovely views. We explored along the stream that runs below the house, following the deer prints (we even saw a few in the driveway when we got home one afternoon). The proximity to great food (Phoenicia Diner) and beautiful locations (Cooper Lake, driving up along rt. 28) is pretty much what every family wants for that perfect vacation spot. We can only imagine how fun it would be in summertime (the fire pit under the trees was covered with a nice layer of icy snow while we were there). This place is totally on our return list.
