This is a beautiful home, nestled in the woods, on 200 feet of secluded Lake Michigan shoreline. There is a large deck and a suspended wooden walkway to the beach. Great location for fall color, summer beach fun, hunting and fishing and winter sports. We welcome families to our home, this is a quiet welcoming family beach area.
There are four bedrooms with queen beds, and a sleeper bed in the family room. There are two full baths and a lovely open kitchen, dining room, great room with huge windows overlooking the lake. The house is well stocked with all pots and pans, dishes, oven, microwave, gas grill, herbs and spices and coffee and tea makers. All the beds will be made with fresh linens, all towels are also provided.
There is a DVD, and Blue Ray player and TV, and lots of cards and games and a Bluetooth stereo and CD music selection. The bay is great for kayaking or canoeing during the summer and beach walks. There are trails for snowshoeing, skiing, and snowmobiling during the winter. Fall color season is lovely.
There are many sightseeing locations within driving distance of the house including: Pictured Rocks, Tahquamenon Falls, Kitch-iti-Kipi or Big Spring, Fayette Historic State Park, Seney WildLife Refuge, many other state parks, glass bottom boat rides in Munisong, Seul Choix Pointe Light House to name a few, We also have a local Drive-In movie theater and downtown movie theater. The waterfalls, wildlife sanctuaries and fishing, boating, canoeing, hiking, cross-country skiing, snowshoeing and snowmobiling make this a great vacation area.
