O condomínio tem muita luz natural mais ventos cruzados fantásticas que arrefecem o apartamento. O condomínio também tem ar condicionado fantástico para aqueles que necessitam de um ambiente de controle do clima.

Há algo para todos em Punta Cana, mas a localização é tão importante. Este condomínio é na melhor localização.
We stayed at this location during late May 2016. This was our 2nd year anniversary, and we had a great time. The Dominican Republic offered new and wonderful experiences for both myself and my husband. However, if you're reading this review, you're mostly interested in the condo and location, so here's what we have to share:
It was great to work with Annette. She was very responsive and offered great insight on the location and property. She was forthright and transparent regarding the property and what we could expect.
The condo is exactly as shown on the website... No hidden surprises. What you see is what you get!
Although it was seriously humid, a nice breeze flowed through the condo.
There were a wide variety of kitchen gadgets...essentially everything we needed to prepare meals was available.
There is a housekeeper who comes in every other day to tidy up and restock towels, tissue, paper towels. Dishes were also washed and stored back in the cupboards... A nice treat that we were not expecting.
There is the ability to pay for transfers to and from the condo (from the airport)...inquire with Annette. We paid approximately $70 U.S. Dollars round trip...
The location is surrounded by fabulous restaurants...which are all in walking distance in the shopping center...be sure to explore!
Most importantly...the location is beautiful!!! We were literally steps away from the ocean, and the water was beautiful. The pool is also right outside of the patio!!!
While the condo is very nice, there is an opportunity for a few updates...coffee pot, curtains, pots/pans. Let me be clear, nothing was in disrepair, but like any rental, after a while, updates become a necessity.
The bed was incredibly firm, and appeared to be a full size. We may have missed that in the description... Since we have a King-size bed at home, this took some adjusting on our part. We were very thankful for our bed when we returned home.
The space while really nice could feel larger if some of the additional furniture pieces were either removed or if furniture wasn't as bulky. The furniture footprint is somewhat large, thus reducing the amount of liveable space.
Important Information to know
Be prepared for the Mosquitos...almost 1 month after our trip, I am still recovering from the bites
Exchange your foreign currency for Pesos prior to arrival...You get more bang for your buck.

Very nice and cozy condo!!! Thank you so much for allowing us to stay in your very quaint and comfy condo! Pool was very nice! Beach - absolutely beautiful!!! My only complaint was that we were not able to connect to Wifi. It was ok by me (as I'm on vacation anyway) but my son was devastated :). The bed is not the most comfortable - but it was ok. Ada was so nice and helpful! Could never get in touch with Benjamin (he was always on the go). Our favorite restaurant nearby was Kat's Korner. The wait staff there were simply amazing!!! Just want to thank Annette and Dennis for their very kind and prompt attention to our situation. We had to cancel our travel plans very close to the time of departure due to a sudden critical illness of our daughter which I am very thankful to say is recovering from. I did have cancellation insurance through VRBO but the Claders did refund our damage deposit and house cleaning fees very quickly. They were very nice to deal with and hope someday to rebook. Thankyou very much.
I will try to be as fair in this review as possible. Firstly, the complex is in a great location, close to great restaurants, small markets, etc., and we always felt extremely safe. The complex itself is right on the beach, and seems well maintained with a terrific pool area with lots of shade for those who want/need it.
Dealing with the Calder family for the rental of their apartment was hassle free, and we always received prompt replies to our questions. The apartment is nicely decorated,
The condo is a first floor unit that walks out to the pool and less than 50 yards to the white sand beaches! The unit was perfect for my husband, daughter and myself. It came with pots and pans to cook (grocery store within walking distance) and a TV with lots of channels (which hopefully you won't need since you'll be on the beach). As with most rentals in the DR, you have to prepay your electric bill (electricity is very expensive there), so initially we were concerned about how much A.C. we were going to be using, especially with our daughter napping in the middle of the day. However, the condo has a such a good cross breeze that we almost never turned on the A.C., we just keep all the windows and doors open and enjoyed the fresh air (there are screens on everything to keep the bugs out). The beach here is great too. There’s beach chairs and cabanas for residents and guests only and a security guard on the beach that chases off anyone who’s not from the complex who tries to use them, so there was almost always chairs and shade available for us on the beach. The owners are great to work with. Called us and discussed all the details before signing any papers AND answered a heck of a lot of questions I emailed her weeks and days before our trips. She was patient and really helpful. She even had advice on restaurants and activities to do. The local host was also great. He met us at the airport so we didn’t have to deal too much with the rat race of aggressive cabbies who meet you at baggage claim and ask non-stop, “which hotel, which hotel?” (typical of a lot of places we’ve been to in the Caribbean) We just told them all we weren’t staying at a hotel and that we were being picked up by our friend Josh, and we were. The grocery store by the airport is larger and less expensive than the ones closer to the condo (and the beach), so he took us there on the way to the condo so that we could buy the bulk of our groceries for the week and then we just picked up odds and ends things from the local grocery store as we needed them.

Prepaid electricity: $10 per night is included in the rate. This is more than ample for the average family. If more than this is needed, which is quite rare, then the additional energy costs are deducted from the security deposit. This system encourages people to be energy conservative, which is very necessary in a resort community. It is the electricity companies that have set our electricity rates quite high due to the condo residence being in a tourist zone.
Energy Conservation Tips: Mostly, it is overuse of the a/c and the hot water heater, that can cause high energy consumption.
A/C tips: We recommend to turn the a/c on for 10 minutes prior to bed time, and leaving the ceiling fans on for good air circulation. This is typically sufficient to cool the whole condo down for the whole night.
Hot water tips: The hot water tank has an on/off switch nearby it. Turning the hot water heater on 10 minutes before showering, and remembering to turn it off 10 minutes after showering, will be enough to provide hot water for most daily needs.
