A great stay!

We stayed at unit 513 and couldn't have been happier! The unit was in a great location, steps from the beach. The unit was very clean, had tons of towels and the kitchen had all utensils needed. It was also a nice touch that Petra, the property manager, came by and showed us how to work a few things. It was a great unit and would stay there again!

Another fabulous stay at Regal Beach

This was our second time staying at Regal Beach. Unit 513 was great - the ground floor porch access was key with kids running in and out for their pool/ beach toys. The unit had everything we needed and when any questions/ issues came up, the management staff were very quick to address and resolve. Top notch! Would definitely stay again.

Very satisfied with our 2nd stay at Regal!

This was our 2nd time on the island and also at Regal. We were very satisfied with our stay. Dale was very accommodating and showed us our suite as we checked in, offering us any help required. Our suite was on the ground floor and very clean and convenient for pool and beach access. We'll stay here again next time we visit Cayman!

Terrific visit

I hesitate to write this review for fear of giving up such a hidden gem! Fantastic accommodations right in the heart of 7MB. This was our first trip to Grand Cayman and hopefully it will not be our last. Before arriving, we had a call with the property manager, Dale, who was amazing in terms of answering all of our questions and providing recommendations for our stay. The unit was in fantastic condition when we arrived- all of the necessities for our party of 6 (4 adults and 2 small kids) were present. There were plenty of towels (including beach towels), laundry detergent, kids puddle jumpers and beach toys, reading materials, and some basic sundries in the unit when we arrived. Also, we really appreciated the gift basket, bottle of milk, and fresh fruit upon arrival. Such a welcoming touch! The condo is a 5 minute drive from the airport and is next door to the Marriott hotel, which was convenient to access their quality restaurants and desserts. We also liked the Craft Beer pub across the street, which reminded us of home (Canada). The downside, if any, was the sea algae we had on the beach for a few days when we first arrived. Once gone, it was paradise. Also, the pools are not heated, but they did warm up on those days when the temperature exceeded 30C with the humidity. Couldn't beat the location within the complex- just steps out of the lanai and you are in the kiddie pool and BBQ. We picked up groceries at the Fosters IGA about 1 km up the road. The island is not inexpensive (especially against the weak Canadian dollar), but having the ability to self-cater in the condo for the majority of our meals did help out considerably. Also, we are a bit particular about healthy eating, so having the full kitchen and dining area made it easy to stick to our usual family eating habits. For Canadians, Fosters IGA carries President's Choice products, so it can feel very familiar to home. We visited the Cayman Turtle Farm in West Bay via the Courtesy Shuttle from the Marriott and went on daily walks north along W. Bay Road and along the beach toward the Westin/Ritz. We relied upon the local buses and walked around the area, though next time we will likely rent a car and travel around the island. There is fantastic Wifi. Modern movie theatres at Caymana Bay are also a close 10 minute walk east.

Bottom line, if you are looking for a quiet, family-friendly place to relax while in Grand Cayman, this is the place to be. We would go back in a heartbeat.

Serene, private, luxury, impecably clean

VRBO rentals are excellent way to get amazing value, even to luxury properties. This one was just breathtaking, immaculate and quiet. The full kitchen is stocked to the gills: short glasses, tall glasses, elegant tall glasses, red wine glasses, white wine glasses, plastic glasses (if you want to take it to the pool), thermal glasses (if you want it to last at the beach)... and that is just with glasses, same goes for plates, utensils, tupperware, pots, mugs... everything you can think of and then some. Same goes for towels - plenty for everybody, of all sizes, even 14 (yes, fourteen) beach towels. Beach toys are provided, there are even two pairs of flippers and a snorkel mask. Screened in lanai was amazing, perfect for light dinner or snack, or just hanging out while kids are splashing in the pool in front. Huge flat screen TVs in each room, very quick internet, very efficient a/c. Shampoo, conditioner, body wash, dishwasher detergent, clothes detergent, paper towels, kitchen towels, sponges, even cling wrap - all provided. Nice touches like special tiles in bathroom, matching bedding, books, three layers of window dressings, fancy dining room light... simply speechless.

The main point I have to make is utter feeling of luxury that we were experiencing while in the apartment. The whole complex is nicely maintained, the apartment is freshly furnished, kept clean, and there are very few people around, adding to the feeling of exclusivity. My kids have had the big pool for themselves 6 out of 7 days, and me and my husband enjoyed smoothies alone while watching sunset from pool patio. Looking at next-door Marriott and how crowded their beach is, I can not understand why would anybody pay for that in Cayman. We enjoyed the sunsets alone on the beach, we strolled between greenery on the property, we relished the view from lanai, through greenery over to the ocean. I get misty now, just thinking about it.

Position of the property is good, there are plenty of quick-bite spots across the street, and grocery shop is 7 minutes away (on foot). Big market (Kirk) is much further away, so you have to plan for bus (in front of property) or taxi. The property owner offers coordination with Kirk market, so you can specify list of groceries delivered to apartment before entering. Very worth it if you don't have a car. Bear in mind that everything (even groceries) is quite expensive on Cayman.

Warmly recommended, you will not be disappointed.
