A dream like setting hillside Italian Villa with a view of the Adriatic Sea and a private infinity pool. Our villa is situated on an active olive tree grove and produces our own family's olive oil, 'Vito and Joe's Italian Extra Virgin Olive Oil'. This home was purchased 10 years ago and is fully renovated and restored with all modern amenities including a washing machine, all new plumbing including a well, new kitchens, one upstairs and one downstairs, two full bathrooms, a new patio with garden and fountain, and breathtaking views of the Adriatic Sea. The home is situated in a small town called Vico del Gargano which means Village of Gargano and the Villa is a 5 min drive from the village. There is a sand beach 5 min from the villa which has a small restaurant and beach umbrellas, lounge chairs for rent by the day or week. The home is in the region of Puglia or Apulia, and is known for beautuful settings, weather, olive oil, wine, and cheeses. The home is cared after by Luigi and Valentina, who have a small home only minutes away, to meet you upon arriving and to help you and guests get comfortable in your new home. The views from within the home are spectacular, with a terrace and long traditional wooden table to eat, relax, read, and take in one of the most beautiful sites in the world. All linens, beach towels, and paper products are provided. You also have an ironing board, iron, hair dryer, curling iron, as well as all kitchen utensils, plates, pans, stove, two refrigerators, and almost anything else you will need to just relax and enjoy.
There are endless activities for you and your family to enjoy in the surrounding villages, and total privacy at the private home for those just wanting to unplug and get lost for awhile.
Know it is paradise on earth for a romantic stay, adventurous couple or group, or an awesome family vacation with daily adventure and recreational fun!
The Italian villa is near Bari, Foggia, and Rome, with only a few hour drive.
Travel to the Villa thru Rome which is a three and a half hour drive or thru Bari which is a 3 and a half hour drive. I found the travel thru Rome much easier as the drive may be longer but the travel and connection to get to Bari was much longer than the hour you save driving. The drive from Rome is very easy where it is best to travel directly East and then south. Be sure to rent or bring a GPS.
