Comfy Cabin Getaway! This cabin has so much to offer! We had a wonderful Girl's getaway/long weekend. The cabin is close to in town North Conway but also far enough away to enjoy peace & quiet. The cabin was well stocked & very clean (minus the cracks in the kitchen table.) We thoroughly enjoyed the hot tub but did have some trouble getting in & out without a step stool.
The only complaints that we have is that the fireplace was not in working order even though it was November & a DVD player would be great to have on those cold, wet days.
If going into town to do some sight seeing & shopping, Zebs is an awesome store that takes you back in time!
There are many restaurants to choose from also.
Overall, we were very pleased with all that the cabin had to offer & are already planning our return trip for next year!!
We very much enjoyed a family stay for a week in this cabin. The property is in a really quiet location but only minutes away from North Conway village. We also enjoyed some great hiking right from the cabin, with a few smaller mountains with really nice views a short hike away. Everything was as advertised, and we comfortably slept seven people. On arrival, the property was clean and ready to accommodate our group. We enjoyed many of North Conway's and Jackson's great restaurants, but also enjoyed some nice meals in the cabin. The kitchen is equipped for basic cooking, and the dining / living space upstairs is really nice. We also really enjoyed early mornings on the deck. The cabin has some wonderful rustic charm, with modern conveniences. If you are "bathroom intense" family or group, the only constraint I noted was the fact that there was one full bathroom (with a combination tub and shower) upstairs and a 1/2 bathroom downstairs. We managed fine, but something to think about depending on the group and if you are doing a lot of outdoor activities. We would definitely return to this property in the future - very much on our short list of great places to stay in the Mount Washington Valley!
This log cabin was nestled away in the woods, with all the amenities we could have desired - grill, hot tub, fire pit, bikes, and plenty of peace and quiet! The owner was fabulous when we had to call to fix the Wifi. Everything was clean and well cared for. the price was extremely reasonable! In all, a perfect vacation experience!
Very nice house and very clean. I love the area and the village. Most if not all of the shops in the village are closed, but the atmosphere in the village is amazing so we didn't mind. The property is pet friendly which is a plus. One of the most disappointing things about the property was that the cleaning woman for the home is also selling thier home and is going to rent the house for a few months after we leave while thier settlement on thier new home goes through. We were told one day prior that they were going to be moving the entire contents of thier house into the home we are renting during our stay. The garage is not separate from the property. It also cannot be locked from either side, which I didn't realize until I was met by the greeter. I was reassured that noone would enter the home and they would only enter from the garage. Low and behold when we returned from a walk with our dogs, a man helping the cleaning women and her husband move was inside the front of the home. Our belongings, cash, credit cards and , laptop were open for anyone to access or take while we were gone. We were literally told about thier moving in one day prior by the greeter, not the owner. I would have never rented the property knowing this, especially knowing that the garage can't be locked from either side. Being told one day prior didn't leave me any option, but to accept it. I am extremely unhappy with the way the whole situation transpired and feel the owner broke the contract which I agreed to.
This log cabin was great. It had everything you could need....think wo-go, central air, and a jacuzzi. It was cozy yet big enough for two families. It was very clean and inviting as well. It wound up being very close to many of the places we wanted to visit in the area as well. My family had a great time here. We will definitely be back.
