perfect family getaway! great location! literally steps from the beach..and all of the beach supplies in the house already were much appreciated! super family friendly area, water park a few blocks away and some cute restaurants.. 15 min or less to Clearwater and 20 min or less to john's pass near st Pete.. great vacay! thanks again! ☀️☀️☀️

Gulfside Villa Stay was great!

My family of 4 stayed at this condo during my daughter's spring break. The condo was very clean and just as described in the overview. The master bed was very comfortable. The kitchen was very well stocked with dishes, pans and cooking utensils. The appliances appeared to be all new. It had 2 bathrooms and showers which was very helpful with 2 teenage girls. The pool was clean. The only draw back is that in the late afternoon it is in the shade. The walk to the beach is very short and convenient. The unit is closest to the street so traffic noise is loud if you are sitting on the balcony but inside the unit it is not noticeable. I had a question about a light and the owner, Shelley, was very responsive. I would definitely recommend this Villa.

Spectacular Sunsets and Prime Location

Little corner of paradise was an amazing find for us! All of the furnishings were new and modern. The condo was in immaculate condition. Master bedroom is spacious and inviting. The large walk-in closet was perfect to set up the Pack-n-Play for our baby to sleep. Plenty of plush bath towels and beach towels. Balcony is placed perfectly to sit and watch the spectacular evening sunsets. Mesmerizing. Beach is just steps outside the door and Condo is equipped with everything you need to enjoy full relaxation: chairs, umbrella, cooler and toys. Kitchen is equipped with toaster oven, coffee maker, blender and has beautiful granite counter tops.

We enjoyed walking over to the Kooky Coconut for evening ice cream cones and casual lunches. Lots of great restaurants in the area. Would definitely stay here again. The owner really has thought of everything and is super responsive.

New appliances, bright sunlight, corner unit! Owner was very easy to work with. Everything is supplied!

Only drawback was the condo is on 3 floors: entryway-1, living-2, bedrooms -3.

Sunny and Bright

My husband, daughter and I enjoyed our stay. The positive things are as follows: clean, bright and comfortable. Our daughter enjoyed having her own room. The negative: very thin sheets, king mattress too soft, no chair to sit in which would have been nice as there is nice natural light in this room. Only place to sit down besides bed is downstairs.

The beach chairs were very old and one was broken, so we couldn't enjoy taking to the beach to sit down. The outside balcony was nice and sunny but keep in mind that this side of condo is a beach access and it is busy with people walking to get to beach. Also, there are two residences across from this condo and one of them has a German Shepherd type dog which barks at anything walking by and, even got out of his yard and attacked a smaller dog walking by with its owner. This is an end unit and is next to dumpsters and street. The condo is a townhouse style and has three sets of stairs which would not be appealing to older couples. Nice restaurants nearby and beach is lovely. All in all, we were pleased because our main concern was cleanliness.

It was okay

The villa itself was nice and clean, but since it was being put on the market to sell, there were small amenities that were missing. I purchased a lamp for the living room as the only light was an overhead one.

There were no extra sheets, just what was on the beds. The cookware was sparse - fry pan was in poor condition and one big pot with 2 smaller sizes. So when I made sauce and meatballs, I didn't have a pot to cook pasta in. I realized I could have put the sauce, etc. in a large glass mixing bowl, but concerned about getting it in the microwave without spilling. I decided to purchase one.

On the balcony, the fixtures for shades were there, but no shades, except on the end which did not work. Until I found the beach umbrella that had a 3 prong stand, which I set up on the balcony, I could not stay outside very long.

However, the biggest concern was the two mouse traps that I found by accident on the main floor. One was in the kitchen and one was under the couch. I did not see any mice for the 4 weeks I was there. The villa is next to the garbage and recycling containers so maybe there was a problem before we came.

A plus was Shelley, the rental agent for this property. When I told her about the fry pan and the lack of an extra set of sheets, she told me to pick out a pan from Amazon and tell her. She sent the new pan and a set of sheets. Since the villa was being sold, she asked if it could be shown while we were there. It was up to us. At first, we didn't want to, but rethought it and decided to let the place be shown. It was only shown twice and that was just enough for us.
