Bem-vindo ao 'The Bungalow' aka 'Início do Honu "(O havaiano da tartaruga de mar verde) e Gateway to the Whales (durante a época).

Nossa casa de férias deslumbrante situa-se na praia em Honokowai cerca de 30 pés da água. A praia em si é tão particular que as tartarugas de mar havaianas vir para cima para dormir na areia!

Desfrute de vistas directas frente para o mar, não só a partir da varanda grande espaçoso, mas também de sala de estar, cozinha e área de jantar.

Este 2º andar totalmente re-modelado, 1 quarto (cama king size), 1 casa de banho completa (com banheira cheia), casa de férias é verdadeiramente um 5 estrelas jóia. A atualização completa e remodelação inclui bancadas de granito (banheiro incluído), mosaicos e murais () na banheira e chuveiro, uma cozinha completa (com novos aparelhos, incluindo máquina de lavar louça), além de uma lavadora e secadora para lavanderia.

Além disso, as paredes estão decoradas com arte designer local elegantemente colocado em toda a casa. O quarto totalmente separadas tem Shoji portas japonesas e situa-se no final de um corredor longo estendido.

No final desse corredor é um passo para baixo sala que tem um tamanho queen sofá-cama separado, cadeira de correspondência, e sala de jantar completo; todos de frente para a água e espaçosa varanda frente para o mar direto (perfeito para refeições com capacidade para 4 pessoas). Por causa da incrível lay out do Condomínio, até 2 casais podem realmente compartilhar este espaçoso retiro à beira-mar sem nunca entrar no caminho um do outro.

O próprio Hale Mahina Beach Resort também é consistentemente classificado como um dos 10 melhores complexos destino resort na área de Lahaina por vários diretórios de viagem. O Hale Mahina Resort também é completo, com uma frente de piscina e jacuzzi, churrasqueira Oceano, e área para piquenique. Além de ter uma praia exclusiva, o Hale Mahina também tem uma área gramada perfeitamente bem cuidados separado onde você pode relaxar e salão (cadeiras fornecidas) para fazer um piquenique e tomar na flora surpreendentes que está presente em todo (apenas no caso de você não quer obter seus pés 'areia').

Perfect View & Location!!

The pictures somehow do not do justice to how unbelievable the view is from the lanai. The ocean is so close that the sound of the ocean is all you hear. The sunsets were spectacular and since it was whale season we could easily watch them breaching. Turtles were often out on the sand in the mornings. The apartment is clean and comfortable, though we spent most time out on the lanai when we were home. Location is great- we really liked that end of the island too. The owners have an on-island person to help with any questions and was very helpful. Our trip couldn't have worked out better. highly recommended!

List of positives from a week's stay - EVERYTHING past reviews have documented with emphasis on (in no specific order):

1. private, large, grassy area outside lanai and open, clear view of beach/ocean 15 yds away.

2. ocean area with lots of sand before choral - great for children and snorkeling - same with beach/ocean with neighboring property to the north - several days w turtles washing ashore to sleep and viewed whales splashing around and saw a pod of dolphins swimming by also from lanai.

3. very structurally solid condo - only hear a door slam once in a while (due to wind, which i was guilty of) and NEVER hear neighbors at night or another shower running or toilet flush.

4. washer/dryer SO NICE - only need to pack a carry on luggage bag and will have fresh, clean clothes every day - brought laundry soap pods, but a big container from COSTCO was in pantry.

5. full kitchen with all needed appliances and utensils - COSTO ideal, but Foodland across Lahaina Mall the 2nd best - the $10/lb. fresh poke (at least 6 diff varieties) from the deli my absolute favorite in all Hawaii.

6. close to and far away from the crowds (Lahaina and Whalers Village) - local restaurants used a bit mainly for takeout (call ahead).

7. mainland (Linda) and property (Vida) contacts awesome - very quick responses to all questions.

List of negatives: leaving

Thanks to Eugene for the opportunity to spend time at the condo - next year's trip in the spring/summer has already been reserved - somebody beat us out for the Xmas stay though.

Cannot imagine a better place to stay in Maui

We just returned from Maui, and a 5 night stay at the Hale Mahina property. The condo is in amazing shape, with all upgraded amenities you can ask for in a home. Views from the lanai are truly million dollar views. From the lanai, you have a clear unobstructed view of the private beach, Lanai Island, and Moloki Island.

The unit has a very comfortable cal king size bed, and a sofa bed, which we did sleep on one of the nights, to be closer to the sound of the ocean. There is plenty of storage in the bedroom for unpacking and making yourself feel at home.

We never like to do laundry while on vacation, but as you can imagine, being in and out of the ocean, it was so convenient to have laundry services in the unit to clean our clothes or beach towels.

The unit is also very conveniently located with easy and quick access to snorkel spots, Nakalele Blowhole, Marina, grocery and shopping.

When we visit Maui again, will definitely be booking the Hale Mahina again.

TRULY AMAZING VACATION HOME

We stayed in this oceanfront condo from 5/15/16 thru 5/28/16. There are truly not enough words, time and space in this review to express our heartfelt gratitude, amazement and overall wonder of the amenities, location and beauty of this condo unit. We spent our honeymoon here knowing that it was truly fate that we ended up at this location instead due to our original booking with another condo complex having been canceled because of HOA elected remodeling. As it turns out, we couldn't have been happier with what this condo and its prime location provided us. The overall cleanliness, furnishings, fully-equipped kitchen & bath, in-unit washer & dryer and even snorkeling/boogie boarding items were readily available at our disposal. Impressive views off the lanai of the ocean, private beach and even Moloka'i and Lanai islands. After a quick trip to Costco with a few supplies, we were more than set for our two week long stay at our new home away from home.

Honu for days and fish life galore for snorkeling pretty much at this complex's private beach area with close to nothing resident crowds and lots of parking (FREE at that). With pretty much all the attractions, beaches, restaurants all either in walking distance or a short drive throughout the island, this truly was a perfect location. And yet, the biggest bonus of all - we got to meet the owner, Eugene, on our last day as he was the next 'guest' to arrive and he even extended our beach access after leaving the condo until we were ready to head out to Kahalui Airport later that evening. What a truly genuine and sincere person and very generous to share his paradise home for any and all to enjoy as much as he does, I'm sure!!!

Thank you for advertising EXACTLY as indicated and GUARANTEED we will now be returning guests and appreciative of being part of this Hale Mahina ohana for years to come!!!!

DIRECT OCEANFRONT!

We stayed the month of January 2016 at The Hale Mahina, condo A202. Eugene (owner) and Linda were a delight to work with. Booking was easy and secure. My questions were always quickly answered. We flew into the West Maui airport (JHM) which is only a mile to the condo. We walked it with just our backpacks. Taxi $12. Also Uber service available. Upon arrival the security box with condo key is located on the condo door. There are two buildings. Condo is in Building A. There is an elevator if needed. The Hale Mahina is a small and quiet complex which is exactly what we wanted. It appeared the resort is mostly inhabited by seniors and not the ideal location for children. Perfect set up for us.

The condo was very nice and clean, with a fully equipped kitchen. We did not cook but everything appeared to be in good working order. Lots of ample space for the two of us. The photos in the listing are accurate. Internet worked very well. Bed and pillows were very comfortable, but no way to escape the street noise from the bedroom. It was really nice to have a screen on front door for a constant breeze. We appreciated having a washer and dryer. There are two steps going into the living room. Of course we spent a lot of time on the balcony enjoying the view, watching whale and turtle activity. Bring your binoculars! The beach and ocean are super close to the condo balcony with unobstructed views. I don’t know how the view could get any better! We loved the constant noise of the waves. The heated pool was very clean but the temperature was too cold for us to enjoy. The ocean water was actually warmer than the pool. We did enjoy the hot tub. There were no games/toys or loud partying/noise allowed in the pool area and we appreciated that. We had fun in the water every day. Snorkel equipment and board rental nearby. Highly suggest water shoes as broken shells and hidden rocks in the water are sharp. There is a Med Center located within a mile. The sandy beach is only three properties long if you like to walk the beach. The grounds were nicely groomed and maintained, and the complex felt secure and safe. The beach is private, accessible only to residents through a locked gate. There were clean grills (none-gas) avail. There was always a nice assortment of colorful flowers. The residents and visitors were all very friendly. We truly enjoyed our stay and would not hesitate to book this condo again. It is a TRUE vacationer’s paradise! You cannot go wrong by staying here.
