This is a beautiful condo with great views.....

This is the first time that Iv'e ever done a vacation rental and I didn't know what to expect. When I arrived at the property I could not get in. I called the number that I registered with and they said it was in an email they sent out with instructions. I didn't get it, but they resent it to me then text me the code to get into the condo and the room. The next problem was trying to print out a parking pass on their computer. I tried using my wifi and print it off on the phone, but their printer wasn't connected to the wifi. I then had to login to my gmail account on their computer and bring up my email and print it off that way. I do not understand why they just don't have these printed off and left in your room, it would make this process so much easier. Anyways on to the condo itself. This was an outstanding place. It had 2 beds and 2 baths, with a kitchen living room, 2 balconies overlooking the ocean and a washer/dryer. Here are a few problems I had with this unit.

1. The door code would let me in one time, but it was easily taken car of with a call.

2. The master bathroom shower/tub wouldn't drain and had little water pressure, after calling them they fixed it why'll we were gone that day.

3. There was a couple of nights with I guess heavy rain and it flooded through the front door and the master bedroom sliding glass door. Don't know how they can fix this, but it was a problem.

4. The blinds in the master bedroom need to be taken out and replaced with some black out blinds. It was like daylight in the room at night with the spotlights they had outside the room.

Now besides all these little things, I would decently stay in this unit again and after doing it once I would think the next time would be smoother.

If you are looking for a great view and place to stay I would try this unit.

A wonderful week on top of Treasure Island.

This was our third "escape" to Treasure Island and the Palms definitely made it the best. We had a great view from our 4th floor balcony and watched the sunset nearly every evening from it. The amenities were more than adequate and the unit was very clean and comfortable. My wife wanted to take the bed from the Master Suite home with us ! When one travels to "get away" it's all about location. I rented a car which it turns out we didn't need as one can walk to any of the local hot spots from this location. I sincerely believe that one can "uber" anywhere from here cheaper than car rental. We loved it so much that we are seriously looking to return next year. If the Palms had two elevators, we would give it 6 stars.

Very convenient, good view, adjacent to Publix

Managers were very helpful with instructions for building and unit access upon arrival. Even managed to arrange for an early availability of unit. The accommodations were attractive and very adequate. Plenty of towels, instructions for the property were very comprehensive. Loved having 2 balconies for variety in view & one was always less breezy, more sunny, etc. Restaurant and area recommendations were helpful. Unit could use some TLC, particularly deep cleaning of kitchen area. Would definitely stay again.

Great location and awesome views...alittle worn

We have been vacationing to Treasure Island for about 7 years now and we love it here. Each year we seem to change where we stay to get a different feel for each part of the area. This was our first time staying somewhere where there was no front desk person. Alittle concerning due to safety but in the end, was not a problem at all. We had our codes to enter the building and never felt unsafe. The room was a bit worn. We had stained sheets, the blinds were missing planks, the mattress had cushins shoved underneath to help its sinking in the center, the bathtub panel kept falling off and the floors were quite sandy still when we arrived. We alerted the owners first thing as we did not want to be held responsible for any of those damages and they were quick to respond and thank us for letting them know. The views were amazing and location was great which were our main purpose for staying here. After a wash of the sheets (stains were still there but atleast they were washed) we were set to go. The pool area was great, got to see many dolphins off the dock and being able to lay out by the pool and see the boats and dolphins pass by were priceless. Having a grocery store next door was a plus. We would stay here again and hope we would not have the same issues as we did prior.

stained sheets, dirty floors and non working ice maker Unit 402

Have stayed in the "Palms" before, in a unit owned by a private owner. Loved it. Found a unit managed by Teeming VR, I think is the name of the mgmt. group. We are still here, through the 15th of June. So far, we have stained sheets on the bed...I've washed them myself, but stains are permanent. Dirty floors.. as in sticky to your feet upon arrival, an ice maker in freezer that was 1) filled with brownish, lumped together ice, 2) non functioning 3) turned OFF. My husband had to spend the first hour of our arrival defrosting and fixing the icemaker. It still does not dispense ice as it is supposed to, but at least, due to his efforts, it makes ice and we reach inside to get it. Fridge had HAIRS inside of it. I had to wash before I put groceries in it. "Master " bed sags in the middle...it appears to lack any central support for the king size mattress. There are no lights in the living room. The ONLY light in the living room is a table lamp, but there is NO TABLE to put it on so it sits on the floor in a corner behind the couch. Fire hazard? Ya think? The TV took my son , an electronic genius, to get it working. There is a box that appears to once have been a cable box. It is non functioning and is hot as the devil. Other than that, we're having a good time. We have vacationed here for 10 yrs now, and will hope to return to our old condo, down the street , in an older but much better kept building, in the future. We will be sure to book there early to avoid having to pay twice as much as we usually do for THIS poorly equipped unit.

Great time at The Palms of Treasure Island

We had a great time, this was our first trip to Treasure Island, we were there for a wedding that we turned into a vacation! The Unit is as pictured, the new bed in the 2nd bedroom is awesome! The location was great, walk across the street to the beach, walk next door to Pub-lix Supermarket, walk to restaurants... The property was clean and well maintained. We would stay here again and would recommend it to family and friends. We purchased the activity package, and while we did not use it as much as we could/should have, walking the beach and laying by the pool is great too, the equipment was well maintained, easy to access and offered a lot of options. From the pool we could watch the dolphins in the inter-coastal waterway. We loved John's Pass Village & Boardwalk, watch the boats, dolphins, pelicans, shopping, great restaurants and bars. We enjoyed eating at Shrimpy's, Ricky T's (great entertainment also) and Caddy's on the Beach (wish we had found this earlier in the week). The owner/manager answered all of our questions before arrival. Great time!
