The apartment is beautiful and had everything we needed. The owner was quick to respond to all questions before and during the trip. He also checked in to see if we needed anything while there.
What can I say. The place looked exactly as the photos made it out to be. Parking was convenient. The owner, Arturo, was always available, like when I couldn't figure out how to use a remote control. The unit was top notch, from bedding, to cleanliness, and a fully stocked kitchen, to having extra garbage bags and some toys for the kids to use. The pool was great, and the beach right out front with plenty of room and chairs. I would definatly stay here again, and recommend this unit, and its owner at 5/5 stars.
We had six adults and five kids ages 1, 3, 6, 7 and 10. The apartment is exactly as the pictures show, there was plenty of room for all of us. Kitchen was well stocked, AC worked well, it was quiet and we didn't encounter any problems. We watched fireworks from the terrace on New Years Eve. Arturo was quick to respond to texts with answer and suggestions. The pool max depth was about 3.5 ft which was great for our kids and there were shallower areas for the younger ones. There are 12 umbrella/cabannas on a grassy area between the pool and the beach and we never had any problem getting one mid day which was surprising since we were there during Christmas week. The beach was tame enough for our kids to swim and play in the surf. There's a rock outcropping that separates the beach from Playa Blanca so there aren't crowds or vendors on the beach, mostly it was people who were staying in the tower. The entire facility was clean and maintained and the staff was friendly and helpful. Supermarket was 25 minutes away. If I return to this area, I will definitely consider renting this place again.
This property is a good two hour drive from Panama City but right in the heart of what I believe will be the vacation meca of Panama in just a very few years. It is right on the beach and has a huge and beautiful pool with a BBQ pavilion and multiple cabanas. As you turn off the main road the two towers of Santa Clara Residences rise before you like a shining star and entering the condo is as refreshing as a bouquet of spring flowers. There are five well appointed bedrooms decorated brightly in beach colors and four spacious bathrooms. The kitchen has everything you could need to make full meals although a few in our group of 8 wished the coffee pot were larger..but who could complain about a small coffee pot when everything else was so perfect? The small washer dryer was a nice bonus we had not expected as was the massive work out room downstairs that overlooked the ocean. The HUGE furnished porch was the perfect vacation spot to start each day. The condo is located on the 18th floor and has amazing giant floor to ceiling windows with views for miles and miles and we especially loved the safety net over the balcony and windows since one of our group was a 5 year old child. I feel like we should also thank the owner for leaving little extras like beach towels and internet which made for an added measure of comfort during our stay. You need a pass key to enter and exit the pool area to access the beach but once on the beach there are little palapas for shade and chairs provided. Another nice bonus is the security we felt while here. We always saw a security person on the deck of the pool or nearby. The owner gave us his tips for places to eat nearby. We loved the Los Comideas (sp?) but were not as crazy about XoKo since they couldn't translate their menu as well as some places..but most of our group loved their meals anyway. We also took excursions to NitroCity for the sports fanatics in our group and to the Natural Mud bath place and on some rope bridge walk through the rainforest as well as a trip down the Panama Canal. There is a nice beach front restaurant a short walk down the beach from the condo but we didn't get a chance to try it out. We took in dinner at the Marriot Golf Club restaurant and it was pricey but DELICIOUS. The Sheraton is also close by and offers a $35.00 buffet. Over in Coronado we found a souvenir shop on the side of the road and were able to buy a few things. (We could have used a clothes iron..but other than that, it was PERFECT.)
We all loved our stay, the apartment was huge and beautifully decorated with everything we needed. The building was real nice with great views, amenities and the pool was great. Also coming from the states, the owner was great about staying in touch, keeping me informed about how to get there, the keys etc. the beach was great too!
