Villa Paraiso is located on the southern Pacific coast of Costa Rica in the prestigious luxury home community of Las Olas in the town of Dominical. Only 8 homes enjoy a 1000 acres of rain forest overlooking the Pacific with miles of pristine hiking trails.
This 9500 sq. ft. Spanish Colonial inspired villa took 4 years to complete. There are 4 guest bedroom suites on the first floor. Two have their own private verandas. All have luxurious bathrooms and individual climate control. The master suite, almost 2000 sq. ft. itself, occupies the entire second floor. In addition there is a movie theater and wine cellar.
A live-in house keeper and 24/7 management company will attend to your every need. Enjoy the blue green glass tile pool with built in chaise lounges, infinity edge, and swim up bar or walk to the beach. World class surfing, fishing, and bird watching are just steps away.
Available services at the house include gourmet chef, bartender, masseuse, facials, pedicures, manicure, and yoga instructors. The area has little tourist pressure, but none the less benefits from several grocery stores, liquor stores, and a remarkable assortment of European and Costa Rican restaurants.

Great house, Great location

All was great at this beautiful property. Olmer was a great manager and was available to help us with anything we needed and Ruth was a great housekeeper. We enjoyed our stay and would recommend this property. Only thing was the hot tub outside the upstairs bedroom was not working and we did not know until we showed up.

Amazing views and pool! Best around!

Overall, this house had a great set up for a family and the most amazing outside space we have stayed at yet. Cannot wait to return!

Our family had a fantastic time in Costa Rica and this home was an amazing home base with a great pool and patio overlooking the ocean. Highly recommended visiting.

A villa in paradise

This villa is one of the best acommodations I ever had! The pictures do not do it justice. The whole villa is so big, there is so much room to relax. We stayed here for one week and didn't get bored at all. The views of the rainforest and the sea are just incredible. The pool is big and warm. The movie theater is the place to be in the evengings and manager and housekeeper are always there to help you, if there is something you need. Thank you for this beautiful stay!

Can't wait to return!

I recently spent a week at Villa Paraiso with my wife, 3 teenagers & 1 year old, and my brother. We've made several trips to the Dominical area and this was by far the best house we've rented there. The house is a short drive from the main highway and has its own gated entrance. It's laid out perfectly for a large group. All bedrooms are spacious and well appointed, each with an en suite bathroom. My wife and I stayed in the master bedroom upstairs which is AWESOME! The pool is huge and well thought out with a swim up bar on one side and a tanning ledge with 2 build in lounge chairs on the other end. When we weren't out exploring the area you could find most of us at the pool. The teenagers loved the movie theater and spent most of their time at the house either at the pool or in the movie theater. The gourmet kitchen has everything you need, although there are so many restaurants we like in the area we rarely ate in. We did have a private chef come in the first and last night of our trip. Thank you Chef Adams, both meals were delicious! Olmer, the house concierge, lined up Chef Adams for us as well as a massage therapist who came to the house a couple times. Olmer is very pleasant and stayed in touch with us from the time we booked until the time we checked out. He also brought in a high chair for our 1 year old, huge help. Thanks Olmer. Last but most definitely not least, there's Ruth. Ruth lives onsite and is there every day cleaning around the house, doing laundry, and she helped us out with our 1 year old multiple times. She is incredibly friendly, hard working, and was so great with our baby. Huge thanks to Ruth, she is incredible! In closing, I can't say enough about our stay at Villa Paraiso. It's a beautiful home with jaw dropping views in a fantastic location. Do yourself a favor and book a week here, I guarantee you will not regret it.

I am a physician in the US and Mindy is a CPA. Our friend was the original developer of the area and we fell in love with the place on our first visit.

Por que o anfitrião escolheu essa propriedade

We did not plan on buying anything on our first visit to the area. The beauty, tranquility, and romance of the area overwhelmed us and we bought a lot on impulse. After a year of thinking we had gone mad buying property in a foreign county, we decided we might as well take the deep plunge and started construction of the villa. It took almost 5 years of a crew of artisans and craftsmen to complete the project, but it is absolutely amazing.

O que faz essa propriedade ser única?

THE VIEW!!! I've taken tens of thousands of photos and I have yet to do the view justice. It's just so big that you can't take it all in in one photograph. You feel like you are literally perched on top of the world looking out on the most beautiful coastal view. If that were not enough, the 10 foot tide which sweeps in twice a day constantly changes the landscape. And the sunsets are beyond spectacular!
