It is a small complex, very complete and well taken care off. It exists out of 2 units surrounded by a beautiful garden. Due to the higher location of Villa Aliki, our guests have a superb view of the sea, the magnificent mountains and the village of Mirtos. The shops, restaurants, boulevard and beach are situated at approximately 100 up to 250 metres and can be reached by means of a donkey trail. The complex can be reached by car as well as via the road. Using this road, the facilities are at about 400 meter distance. Your apartment has a cosy colourful living room with sitting area, with the room to put an extra bed for a 5th person if necessary. The open kitchen is large and fully equipped, such as: microwave, electric stove with oven, coffee maker, fridge (separate door for freezing and refrigerating) and a lot of kitchen tools. There are 2 bedrooms and a bathroom with shower, lavabo and toilet.
Hibernation: The climate in the south east of Crete is very well suited for a long(er) holiday. The day temperatures are in real winter, half January till the end of February hardly below the 16 to 18 degrees Celsius. In the evenings the temperature could drop to about 12 degrees. November and March are good for 20 a 22 degrees. Of course there are some days with rain, mostly short and hard, but regularly you can enjoy the sun. Talking about the climate, South East Crete isn’t inferior to for example South Spain, Portugal and Cyprus. Of course we know that apartments that are rented out for the winter period should have other requirements than those rented out in the summer period. The spacious apartments of Villa Aliki in Mirtos are very suitable for wintertime: nice living room with a place to sit, satellite TV and a good heating for cold nights, a complete kitchen with everything you need, spacious bedrooms, a good bathroom and spacious terraces.
