Great condo, wonderful location to walk everywhere

We really enjoyed our stay here! This condo has some prior negative reviews for being run-down, but it appears to have been recently updated. Beautifully furnished, newish bathrooms, and it was very clean and bright! Perfect location to walk to all the amenities at Pier Park. Strangely, no coffee maker when we arrived, but the management company promptly delivered a new one. Very impressed with the management company. Check in was easy and everything went so smoothly. We really enjoyed this condo, would recommend!

Condo Nasty… Great location

Our feet stayed black… we cleaned, cleaned and cleaned the floors. Garbage cans in bathrooms were nasty the patio was nasty. We scrub the patio and cleaned it too. You need to find another housekeeper. It could be a really nice place to stay. I think we should be refunded the cleaning fee😊

Check in process and parking deck issues

First of all, the app that I was told to download is totally useless. I was under the impression that I had done the express check in through an email but apparently that wasn’t so. The check in procedure is a nightmare! Too far away AND the gate code on the app is useless. You now have to SCAN your pass to get in the parking deck! Also, when we checked in I TOLD them I had TWO cars! They emailed me a pass to scan and I ASSUMED I could screenshot it and share it with my daughter so that she could park in the deck also but NO it doesn’t work that way so here it is 9:00 at night and security says we can’t park her car outside the deck but we can’t get her INSIDE the deck either and guess what??? The check in place is 10 miles down the road and they were CLOSING as we speak! Just a total mess!! We have to get up the next morning and drive ALL the WAY back to get her an email sent so SHE can get HER parking pass!! Our room had terrible skillets and could use new furniture, a paint job and a broom and dust pan so you can sweep a little if needed during your stay. Once we got settled, everything was fine but the logistics of staying at Calypso and parking across the street, the long walk to the room is definitely not user friendly. We definitely could not bring our elderly parents for a stay there. Probably will find an easier place to stay next time even though it’s convenient to pier park. I would like to say though that the people working at the check in places were nice, it’s just too far from the actual place, especially having to deal with traffic! We also couldn’t leave home to come down on Sunday until 2:30 so If we had come in any later we would have been stuck sleeping in our car because it wasn’t in my email what time after hours check in placed closed either. It was by the grace of God we got there before they closed!
