I stayed here for a week. During the first two days, everything was fine. The unit was clean and accessible to many restaurants to shopping. Day 3, I noticed there were soooo many ants crawling around in the bathroom. They were everywhere! On the walls, in the cracks, in the shower. I called the office after I received no response from my email to the owner, David. They set up a pest control exterminator. But by this time, I was nearing the end of my week stay. Andre (office representative) was helpful. Hopefully, the exterminator got it under control. Not exactly how I wanted to spend my week. I was nervously itching the entire time.
The vertical shades next to the bed had pieces missing so I was on display, especially at night, to passers-by (No, I'm not a prude, but this was uncomfortable, there's a walkway just outside the window).
If you like to charge your phone on the nightstand while you sleep, there's no way.
A paper napkin is stuck to the ceiling (with chewing gum, I think) to cover over the smoke detector.
The kitchen sink was clogged, very hard to do the dishes (no dishwasher).
The TV was not working, but after an hour of my time fooling around with it, success! (Yay! Cords were plugged in wrong.)
You have to set up the coffee maker on top of the microwave to access electricity (unfortunately, doing so blocks access to a kitchen cabinet).
The bathtub was not very pretty, but worked ok.
Yes, I made multiple calls for help, and a slew of promises were made, but no one ever showed up. Pics were snapped of everything, happy to share with anyone.
First off, I write this review as a fellow VRBO property owner. So I believe I know a little bit about this.
It took me several weeks to find a property in this area. It seems like the majority of people either had outrageous fees or their response times were horrible.
We found this efficiency and was impressed by the reviews, but mostly, the owner looked like they took an active interest in the property which is so important when you're renting from an individual.
The transaction went extremely smoothly all the way from the online booking to communications and check in.
The property is definitely no frills but it is exactly as described and in a nice area very convenient to A1A. Without the property was very clean and we loved the little treat when we arrived.
One thing I really have to say about Steve is I asked him if there was a blender so my wife could mix her shake in the morning and when we got to the property, a brand-new blender was waiting in the box on the stove! He sent me a message and said thank you for the idea.
we travel to South Florida rather frequently and this will be my go to property. This property is perfect for somebody needing a place to stay in a reliable vacation rental.
We enjoyed our stay , very centrally located, the kitchen was well equiped so we could cook some meals and not have to eat at restaurants all the time, the bed was very comfortable. On the negative side the Ne 26th street is a very busy street and we could hear the car all night making it difficult go sleep. The air conditioner which worked very well is extremely noisy making it impossible to keep on at night, luckily for us the weather was cool and night..Overall considering the price we paid we were satisfied with our stay.

Boligen er ikke ny og fremstår lidt slidt.
Rengøringen levede ikke op til vores forventning, hvilket vi orienterede Steve om.
Vi bad også om af få rengøringsafgiften retur, hvilket Steve desværre ikke ønskede at imødekomme.
Der er mange gode restauranter i området , gåtur eller kort køretur. (thairestaurant tee-jay var vi glade for)
Vil ikke anbefale studioen til familie og venner.
We are a senior couple who stayed at this Twin Palms studio for the cool month of February/16 and we thoroughly enjoyed Ft Lauderdale. Steven and his staff was most helpful taking care of some small deficiencies right after we moved in. We had no other issues for the balance of our stay. Not being from the south, we were surprised that the west facing wall was not solid but a series of movable glass slats, allowing for good air movement and this rental also has a new HVAC system helping to keep things comfortable. This studio had been kept clean, appropriately stocked and is well situated near great restaurants, shopping and more importantly…the beaches. Steven answered very quickly any of our questions, before during and after.
