Elegantemente decorados e recentemente remodelado, esta casa com fachada de pedra de 3 andares é composta por amigável governanta, jardineiro e poolman. Localizado em um dos san miguel de mais curto, e as ruas mais tranquilas dentro dos limites do mundo da famosa cidade protegida pela UNESCO centro histórico. Equidistante entre uma orquídea preservar e mercado local da cidade, a casa é bem adequado para quem alugar sem um carro, mas também tem uma garagem. O elegante porta de entrada de pedra leva através de uma grande escadaria para a grande sala. No piso térreo, o quarto principal (cama king size) com casa de banho (banheira de imersão e ardósia) dá para o pátio privado através artesanais vitrais com vista para o 'muro de chorar ", que suavemente cascatas em piscina de imersão na sua base. O quarto de hóspedes (queen size) tem a sua própria varanda e casa de banho privativa. A den tem uma tv a cabo, dvd e tem vista para o jardin. O bem-nomeado luz e cozinha arejada se conecta diretamente à sala de jantar, que leva para o primeiro de três terraços. A grande sala é um espaço maravilhoso e gracioso com uma lareira entre varandas com vista para a rua tranquila, bem duas varandas com vista para o pátio ensolarado. A sala possui um teto de grande durou boveda (arqueou). Na parte superior da casa há um quarto de estúdio de banho com o seu próprio terraço. O terraço tem uma vista gloriosa das parochia e todas as principais igrejas da cidade - especialmente adequado para o gozo de cocktails pôr do sol ou jantar.
This delightful highly recommended San Dimas property made for easy transition from tourist to a local very quickly during a month stay. San Dimas is a very well located safe street with the food market providing the freshest produce only a 5-10 minute walk away. It is so close even ice cream stays frozen.
The property itself has been beautifully refurbished by the owner who has a keen eye for design, making for an uplifting experience on entering the internal ochre courtyard with thriving plants, a high weeping wall cascading into a plunge pool giving a refreshing ambience and well executed lighting in the evenings.
The furnishings in the bedrooms with ensuites have wonderful attention to detail – the quiet spacious master King bedroom is accessed from the courtyard and the street side bedroom has a Queen bed; both rooms have ample wardrobe space. Washing machine/dryer and iron available.
On the upper level there is a grand Sala living space with a handsome fireplace, tasteful furnishings and domed Bovada ceiling opening to another terrace ideal for breakfasts catching the morning sun and offering hillside views, the dining room also opens to the terrace making for easy entertaining. The kitchen is very functional with ample crockery and utensils for home cooking. The whole house has a state of the art water purification system making it a very safe haven for food preparation and ice making.
On the third level there is a studio single bedroom and ensuite with a terrace offering San Miguel views and with a further climb to the rooftop terrace above, you are rewarded with church spires and the Parroquia silhouetted against a setting sun – an ideal area to retreat to at cocktail hour or indeed to view the many spectacular firework celebrations.
A downhill 10 minute stroll will find you in the thriving and bustling hub of El Jardin which is the meeting point in front of the Parroquia for many, who then stumble off in search for superb dining experiences whether on rooftops or in beautiful courtyards. San Miguel is the home maker’s dream town with unique purchases from soft furnishings, mirrors, lanterns and tableware with easy access to shipping services. The property is ideal for two couples or a family.

We have been happily spending the month of February in San Miguel for the past six years in many fine apartments but this home is surely among the best. Located a few blocks up the hill from the Jardin (main square) it does require a one and half block walk on a cobblestone street but of course if you prefer, taxis are cheap and readily available. The first floor features an inner court with a beautiful waterfall, a master bedroom with king size bed and bath plus an additional bedroom with queen bed. There’s also a small tv room/den on the first floor and an additional bathroom. Upstairs, on what we thought of as the main floor, is a large and lovely living room with a boveda ceiling. We loved this room as it’s bright and spacious - perfect for relaxing or entertaining. A small terrace adjoins the living room. The contiguous dining room is pretty and bright as is the kitchen. We really enjoyed the sunlight streaming into the kitchen. The kitchen is very well equipped with most anything you'd need although we didn't' do a great deal of cooking. There are plentiful windows on this main floor for excellent cross ventilation. Most of all we loved that this main floor was so bright and inviting and comfortable. Up one last spiral staircase and one is in the charming sunny small bedroom with a single bed and additional bath. There’s an easel in this room and we used it for painting. It has an inviting small terrace which leads to yet another spiral staircase to a roof deck with a panoramic view of the surrounding mountains and town.
We were very happy in this house. It’s beautifully and simply furnished. The maid and gardener are friendly and professional. The only slight downside was that the bedrooms on the first floor were a bit dark. But we quickly learned that there is a huge compensation for this: on occasion San Miguel can be a very noisy town. A couple of times while we were in this house there was a wedding on the roof of a nearby hotel. The noise of the band was quite loud and carried for blocks and blocks. We were afraid that it would be a sleepless night. But as soon as we got into our bedroom and closed the door, we enjoyed utter and complete silence! This was ample compensation for the lack of sunlight in the room. And, in fact, we were rarely in the bedroom except to sleep. Finally, Norma, the house manager, was so helpful and warm. The few small issues that arose were dealt with quickly and effectively.
