Kiahuna Plantation is a low density beach front Condo Resort. The use of the pool, tennis, pickle-ball, and the amazing Fitness Center at the POIPU BEACH ATHLETIC CLUB are also FREE for our guests.

Nestled within 35 acres of lush lawns and tropical gardens are plantation style buildings, no higher than a palm tree. Our unit is open and airy due to large sliding doors and windows with louvers that open to catch the cooling Hawaiian trade winds.

The master bedroom on the first floor features a King Bed, 2 night stands, a separate dressing room and full bath with tub. The master bath has been completely renovated. A dresser - with a TV on top - and 2 large closets are provided for your clothes including a safe for valuables. A 6' sliding door leads to your private lanai with 2 lounges and a chair & table where you can relax with a good book and listen to the birds singing.. New Island Shutters have been installed in the master bedroom for your privacy.

Our 2nd bedroom has 2 single beds, a night stand, a large dresser and a closet. The guest bathroom, which has been totally renovated is off the hall featuring a large enclosed shower, with a sink inside a cabinet with a granite top.

On the 2nd. floor, the living/dining room (great room) is spacious (20' x 24'). The full-service kitchen was recently updated with new cabinets, a stove, microwave dishwasher and refrigerator. An electric coffee machine, mixer to make your tropical drinks & smoothies, and all the dishes, pots and utensils you need are provided. Next to the kitchen is the dining area with a glass top table and 6 chairs.

Two people can sleep on the pull-out couch in the living room. A 58” LCD TV sits on top of a dresser with cable provided, including internet service for your computer.

Your private balcony is right outside the living room, where you can enjoy eating a quiet, peaceful meal while enjoying the view of the 100 year old banyan tree. There is ample room for 6 people to eat, using the round table & chairs on the balcony.

Recently, the entry and the kitchen tiles have been replaced with 16'x16' tiles, installed in a diamond pattern.

A new barbeque below our property will help you get quick, tasty meals on your table. Even a hamburger or hot dog tastes better from the BBQ at the Kiahuna Plantation than at home. Mango and banana trees right in front of the condo.

However, if you prefer eating out and you don't want to drive, here are some of your choices: The Plantation Gardens Restaurant is right around the corner from our building. Across the street at the Kiahuna Shopping Center are several places to eat. A favorite with guests is Keoki's Paradise with open air dining. Across from Keoki's, a new restaurant has opened that specialize in pizza and Italian food. Or you can eat at The Bangkok Happy Bowl, located on the NE corner of the Poipu Shopping Village. Next to them is a stand, where you can enjoy eating a Puka Dog with a choice of unusual toppings.

One of the newest additions for fine dining is a mile west of our complex at the Kukui'ula Village in Koloa, Merriman's. If you like Mexican food, the Tortilla Republic Grill & Margarita Bar is a tasty place to try.

Around the Kiahuna Plantation property you find a multitude of beautiful blossoms and colorful foliage. Take in the aromas of sweet plumerias, orchids and hibiscus. Watch the palms gracefully swaying in the breeze, and find flowers, trees and shrubs you may have never seen before.

The Moir Cactus Garden is another spectacular attraction on the resort grounds, created almost 80 years ago. You'll discover that this Condo Resort is so much more relaxing than similar places on Oahu and Maui with their hustle and bustle.

A short walk from our condo will lead you to the best swimming beach on Kauai. Feel the warm white sand sift through your toes as the Hawaiian sun embraces you. Gaze at the brilliant blue waters of Poipu Beach and watch as the sunrays dance on the waves. You can go surfing, boogie-boarding, snorkeling, sunbathing, or reading a good book under a palm tree in the vast lawn facing the ocean. Free towels and beach chairs are provided at the Beach Hut for our guests. Surf-and boogie boards are available for rental. Surf lessons are also available.

The famous Poipu Bay Golf Course, former site of the annual Grand Slam tournament, is 2 miles east, next to the Grand Hyatt Hotel. The Kiahuna Golf Course is just north of our property. Other great golf courses are nearby.

Many other fun things, like horseback riding, scuba diving, windsurfing, etc. are available close-by. If you like hiking, we can help you find the perfect trails. You can reach the Waimea Canyon in about one hour by car. Mark Twain called it 'The Grand Canyon of the Pacific.'

As you can see, there is simply no shortage of things to do, including helicopter rides around this amazing island. Make your plans today and we'll help you have the greatest vacation of your lifetime.

We enjoyed our time - family plus grandparents
We stayed here for a week and a half with grandparents and had a great time. The pool across the street was a hit (fun slide and great ‘beach’ zero depth entry) and the actual beach in front of the property was fun to play in the waves. We checked out the turtles on poipu beach and everything was within walking distance. The place was nice and I understand some updates are coming with the new owner! Will be wonderful I’m sure.

The weekend was too short!
After visiting my son and daughter-in-law in Maui for a week with my girlfriend and her husband, we all flew to Kauai for the weekend. I only wish we had more time. The condo was decorated beautifully and the great room area was very spacious. The pool, hot tub and gym across the street exceeded our expectations. I also loved having restaurants and shopping so close. We enjoyed a happy hour each evening on Poipu Beach watching the sea turtles sleep and also got to see an endangered Hawaiian Monk Seal resting on the beach as well. Great location!

Great vacation!
My family and I thoroughly enjoyed our vacation , couldn’t be happier. Andrea was great, and checked in on us a couple of times would certainly stay there again.

Family Vacation Getaway
We stayed here with older kids for a family vacation. The location was great, the space was nice. The only downside to the place was the living room furniture. It was a little uncomfortable to sit in the chairs and couch. The condo is just a short walk to the beach and nearby hotels. We had an amazing time there and it was a vacation to remember.

Amazing location and great property!
Great place to stay. Easy check in and checkout. Convenient location to the athletic club and less than 5 minute walk to the beach. There is also a great south facing reef break for surfing which was an awesome surprise!

Aloha! As an Oregonian, I have always loved the amazing combo of ocean and mountains. I currently live in Montana with my husband and children, and have wanted a place to go relax, rest and take our children to that would be a happy oasis for all of us.

When I stumbled across this property, it felt special to me. Between the amazing tropical backyard, to the easy access to beaches, to the walk across the street Little Fish Coffee, it instantly felt like home.

My husband and I both lost our first spouses, and are the parents of a combined 12 children. Life is hectic, and we both own our own businesses in addition to having such a large family. Spending time at this property is a gift to ourselves and our children (and grandchildren!) as it presents an opportunity to just...be.

We want this for our guests, too. We want you to look forward with anticipation to staying in beautiful Kiahuna Plantation, and to feel at home in our unit #223.

In addition to traveling and being with our family, I enjoy playing in the ocean, making new friends, and playing the piano. I also love supporting my children in their many endeavors, whether it be attending their wrestling meet, orchestra concert or tennis match. I love watching them step into their own as they enter adulthood.

I sincerely hope spending time here feels like a restoration, where you are prepared to go home and take on the next challenge. You deserve it!

Our special unit #223 is about as serene as it comes. If you like privacy, you will love this space.

It has been on my radar for years to purchase a property that I can come stay in, and rest out the rest of the time. When I came across this property, I knew there was something special about it. I took the leap, flew from Montana to Kauai and knew it was meant to be the second I walked through the door.

After spending the day out and about, being able to come back to our quiet condo, tucked away from the crowds, is the best. From the master lanai, there is a private lawn surrounded by lush vegetation. From the upstairs lanai, you can look out over your own private garden, listen to the birds and rest.

I feel in love with the incredible grounds of Kiahuna Plantation, and the easy access to so many family-friendly amenities.

It is such a special place, away from hustle and bustle. Time really slows down here.

O que faz essa propriedade ser única?

It's a short walk to Poipu Beach and to the new POIPU BEACH ATHLETIC CLUB (POOL, TENNIS, Pickle-Ball & FITNESS CENTER), because our condo is right in the middle of the property. 5 restaurants can be reached by foot within 5 minutes. A Whaler's store is across the street for buying groceries, including a large selection of wines & spirits, T-shirts, sweaters, postcards, calenders & gifts. Starbucks is across the street as well, to take care of your caffeine cravings.

Less than a mile is the upscale Kukui'ula Center with little shops and several restaurants. The choices range from hamburgers & hot dogs at Bubba's, to quality Mexican food, to organic, to upscale at Merryman's and Ruth's/Chris...You can also find a seafood restaurant and many other places to dine.

Old Town Koloa is a couple of miles away with its quaint shops, markets and restaurants.

Less than a mile from our condo you can learn how to scuba dive and get licensed.
