The perfect place to stay in Maui!

This condo is our home away from home. We have stayed here 9 years in a row and have never been disappointed. We love everything about it. It is beautifully furnished and has many upscale features. The kitchen is very well stocked with everything we might need. It is also well stocked with towels and linens. It has chairs, umbrella, and beach towels for our beach days. The 2 TVs and free wi-fi are nice when we stay in.

The location is perfect for us. Maalaea is a quiet area that is close enough in either direction if we want to hit all the touristy areas. Being next to the harbor is great. We love watching the the boats go in and out. And a few minutes walk away are restaurants and shops. Also the aquarium is there and everyone should visit it. We start each day drinking coffee on the lanai watching the sunrise (every sunrise is different) and wait for the whales to wake up. We then walk to Sugar Beach for our morning walk. If you are looking for the perfect condo at the perfect location, this is it.

I would NOT recommend this place or owner. Buyer beware!

We were informed that this owner double booked a few days before we arrived so we did not get to stay there. We were moved to another location that did not meet our expectations at all. I believe that a better longer reservation came along so they (the owners) dumped us and took the longer stay.

I Go Maui Vacation Rentals (I guess VRBO uses them) did try to help us and even gave us a partial refund that we had not asked for which was considerate of them but every husband out there will understand when I say a happy wife equals a happy life. The place we were moved to left my wife far from happy and really ruined what was supposed to be paradise.

At the end of the day we left Maui feeling like we got scammed. It feels like a classic bait and switch con. Put up nice pictures, convince us to pay then get dumped someplace you never wanted because the fine print says you can. We certainly would never take a chance on VRBO, Home Away, I go Maui Vacation rentals etc again. Just not worth it.

Also to preface that we were unaware of this review as vrbo took a couple weeks to post it. posted 2/6/17. We connected with the guests and took care of them prior to this review being posted. Please read their recent email to us........................................................ Feb 3rd, Aloha Stephanie, Just so you are aware, you are making it very difficult for us to hate you and I go Maui Vacation Rentals. We appreciate your kind words and the full refund. We did not ask for it nor did we expect it and by providing it you have proven to us that you and I go Maui vacation rentals actually do care about your customers. You have displayed a level of customer care and service that rarely exists anymore and for that we are grateful. I had already noted your prior attempts to resolve the situation and your partial refunded (also offered without being asked for) in my review that I wrote for VRBO but for some reason VRBO has not posted my review. Our negative attitude toward I go Maui vacation rentals has been replaced and we will now consider booking with you again in the future. For now though we will stick with hating the double booking condo owner, they definitely still suck! We don't know, we never saw it

The day after our payment was received for 7 - 13 January 2017, we were notified by the property manager that there were "unforeseen circumstance" and it was no longer available. We were given use of a property further down the beach. This VRBO 254769 property displayed the Book With Confidence Guarantee so we expected VRBO to become involved but they did nothing but tell us to call the property manager! We specifically only looked at properties with the guarantee but it turned out to be of no use. We feel we were victims of a bait and switch by paying for one property and put into another of lesser value.

Our response to them...Aloha Gail & Bob R. We so apologize for the issue. It in no way was a bait and switch. All VRBO properties have the vrbo guarantee but what that refers to is protection against fraud. Sadly things do happen that are out of our control and I feel disappointed to have had to tell you that it was no longer available. We emailed you the virtual tour of the alternate property for your review from a different management company and would have gladly refunded if you wanted to find another property on your own. The property was certainly not of lesser value but had many extra amenities that the original did not have. We also thought you ended up enjoying your stay in the alternate due to the very nice note that you left in the guest book there at Island Sands which tells a different story of your experience.The owner and their management company were pleased to read your review of your stay in their condo. I posted it in the photo area above. Following your stay at the alternate property we gave you a 5 star guest rating for taking good care of their property. I wish you could have stayed at YM309 too but sadly we have had to move others as well. :-( We can honestly say in the 17 years of serving travelers we have never had to move folks. We hope to get back on track with continued great service and great reviews.

Maalaea é a localização mais central para todos os pontos de interesse poupando muito tempo de unidade.
