This unit was perfect for three adults and one child to enjoy the beach for a week. Although it was too chilly to really enjoy the main level patio/beach access and pool, those were highlights for us--we loved being able to walk out the patio door to the beach. The unit is in an area of the island that is a less crowded and away from hotels, and although there were a few college students visiting there were far fewer than in the hotels we've stayed at previously during spring break, and they were fairly polite students who didn't seem to party too loudly (though they did throw beer cans into the planters on our patio). The Pensacola area has many great restaurants (including Peg Leg Pete's right across the street, as well a Tom Thumb convenience store) and attractions that are great for families, including the Naval Air Museum, Gulf Island National Park, and Historic Downtown Pensacola. We appreciated the reserved parking space and gated access for added sense of security; when someone incorrectly took our spot, the property management handled it courteously. The accommodations themselves were a little less clean than I would have hoped for. There was a musty smell in one bathroom where the shower surround had a large hole in it, and visible water damage to the kitchen and bathroom sinks along the floor. The grout in the tile needs a good scrubbing on the floors, which seemed very dirty (our white socks were dark brown after walking around). Curtains in the north facing bedroom to block out the annoying security light would also make for a better night's sleep. But overall, it was an enjoyable stay and the amenities like ground-level beachfront access, a pool, and secure parking outweighed any issues with cleanliness. We would definitely stay here again!

When I win the lottery I will buy a unit at Sans Souce. Perfect location. The unit has dark furniture which is not our personal style, but when you can almost fall onto the sand, who cares? It's functional. Wonderful large patio which we prefer over the balcony units, but we don't mind one bit staying in a balcony unit if 104 is not available. We have used Pensacola Beach properties many times over the last 8 years and they are great. We will be back soon. 4 stars only because of furniture and master bath is small, but again, location, location, location!

Very Disappointed

The pictures did not align with the actual condo interior. This property is overdue for a serious upgrade. Problems with one toilet, cracked floor tiles, duck tap on hinges, condo furniture was old. The condo had dirty floors, lacked pillow cases, bathroom cabinets were falling apart, and some mold was seen. The patio was not cleaned after the last guest. This is the short list of concerns. The location and pool were great. We contacted the management, and they were VERY HELPFUL and investigated our concerns. The noted all problems and contacted the owner. They returned our cleaning, damage deposits and linen fee after investigating our concerns. This is probably our 12th visit to the Gulf Coast, and this was the most disappointing (and expensive) condos we rented. We would visit again, after this condo gets some TLC.

Another Saga at San Souci

We have spent time in Pensacola Beach for the last five years. We always stay at San Souci. Each time has been great, this year was fantastic because we were on the first floor and had a large deck that is easily accessible to the beach. There is lots of room inside with two full baths. The unit was very clean and had a beautiful view. San Souci is located close to shops and restaurants with one directly across the street. Our favorite restaurant is Crabs with Peg Leg Petes coming in second. Peg Leg's is the one across the street. Beside spending time on the beach, we like parasailing and paddle boarding. One thing we did for the first time this year was go out to Fort Pickens and watch the Blue Angels practice. They were awesome! The entire Fort Pickens area was a history lesson and if you enjoy that, don't miss that. We just love Pensacola Beach and San Souci.

The place is a little older and a little long in the tooth but it was clean and the location could not be beat. The pool/spa were great. The units furniture is different from the picture and while not as beachy was fine. The unit could do with a little updating, at least fix loose towel bars and faucet handles etc. Overall we had a great time and were very satisfied with our stay. Just a hint, you can call Peg Leg Pete's and put your name on the list. They will call you when your table is ready and you avoid waiting outside for an hour + or - .

We had a great time while we stayed in Florida. The kids are wanting to go back again very soon. For the price I paid I feel like it should have been in better condition a few things fixed. But we weren't inside very much so it was all good.
