We had a wonderful time, the condo needs paint.
Nous étions 4 adultes. Nous étions déçus par les points suivants :
1- La 2e chambre peut accueillir à peine un enfant. Trop petite et sans aucun placard.
2- les draps et les couvres lits étaient très sales avec des poils de cheveux et saletés dessus.
3- Serviettes de bain quasiment noires de saletés.
4- Équipement de cuisine se résume à une assiette et une tasse de café. le strict minimum. Impossible de cuisiner un souper sur place et de se servir avec 4 assiettes. On est allé acheté des assiettes et des verres, car le manager ne les a jamais fournis malgré que je lui ai réclamé.
5- Un seul sofa de 3 places dans le salon. le 4e doit s'asseoir sur une chaise de la salle à diner,
6- Cafards dans la salle de bain.
Après plusieurs appels et courriels, nous n'avons reçu les serviettes, les draps et les couvertures que le 3e séjour de notre séjour. Le manager ne se soucie absolument pas du confort immédiat de ses clients.
l'emplacement est très bien, mais l'appartement a besoin d'être rénové, nettoyé et équipé. Dans son état actuel, je le trouve très cher. Si j'avais lu le commentaire de février, je ne l'aurais pas loué.
Stayed at this rental for just over 3 weeks. Upon arrival we noticed a few issues right away. The listing showed really nice wicker patio set with table. We found two resin plastic chairs and no table, disappointing. The overall feel of the apartment was mostly clean, but the bathroom and kitchen really needed a good scrub. The elements on the stove barely worked as they had kinda fallen into the rotted out bowl liners below, that were filthy with food and rusted metal. I guess no one turned the lights on in the kitchen to see this? The cleaning people obviously didn’t care enough to report this to the manager. The manager Alejandra was quick to fix the problem with new elements. The kitchen really wasn’t “fully equipped” just the basics. A tea kettle, ovenware, tea towels would have been useful. The issue of the “roaring” A/C on the balcony as other reviewers pointed out was a problem, you literally would jump out of your chair when it started up, and couldn’t hear each other talk. Signage that says “do not turn OFF the AC”, which we really wanted to do. Basic cable with only 4 or 5 English channels was a let down. The beach chairs were great to have. The towels, were worn and no bath mat. We asked for basic cleaning items to maintain the rental during the long stay, and were told we’d have to buy them ourselves. The pots and pans had the black teflon scratched off, Alejandra replaced them immediately. She is a great manager, but I think the owner is happy to just to flip this rental, and not invest in a few upgrades, eg; maybe coffee tables and lamps in the livingroom, better utensils, replace the bathtub, as moldy rubber mat really felt scuzzy, trying to hide the tub bottom . On the positive, the master was great, lots of storage and comfortable bed. The second bedroom has no window, just a bed and 2 nite stands. The ceiling fans worked well. The wifi was fast and stable. The beachview from the balcony is in the distance....a few blocks, but definitely there over the abandoned buildings below. For the price, I think maybe you could do better. Alejandra tried hard on the issues, but her hands are tied on what she could do. ESJ - security from the beach gate to the bldg. doesn’t exist...propped open gate, anyone can get into the parking garage. And theres the brigade of sales people trying to get you to a “timeshare” presentation. Like you, I count on the honesty of reviews when making my rental decisions, hopefully you find mine helpful
Very nice condo in the perfect location. It had everything we needed. Keep in mind that you are near the airport so bring earplugs if you are a light sleeper. Also, keep the balcony doors closed and the AC on to keep the floor dry.
Affordable and convenient location to the beach... Wonderful vacation place for a family...
