Long Beach é uma comunidade diversificada vibrantes e uma base perfeita para aqueles que visitam o sul da Califórnia. Ele está convenientemente localizado entre os aeroportos LAX e John Wayne e apenas algumas milhas do aeroporto de Long Beach. Vela, stand-up paddle boarding, caiaque e kitesurf são esportes populares nas águas calmas fora Long Beach, enquanto o surf pode ser encontrado nas proximidades de Huntington Beach.
The location was great as was the building. The Unit could use some updating-tv is from the last century-can't get in fridge if you open door-no balcony furniture-probably our biggest disappointment- the picture showed balcony furniture but it is the next door neighbors. We would have loved to have been able to sit out at night. In general it is old and sad needs a refurb because it could be great.
My family and I had a wonderful stay at Ingrid’s condo in Long Beach CA. Ingrid was very accommodating in meeting our needs as far as arrival and departure times. She had a great knowledge of the area and made us feel right at home, indicating that we could call her should we have any questions. A binder was presented and reviewed with pertinent information related to the condo and a quick tour of the beautiful historical building was taken. Our trip to Long Beach was the result of a dance convention that was being held at the Long Beach Convention Center and family vacation. The location of the Condo was perfect. It was a short walk to the convention center, many tourist attractions, the beach, wonderful restaurants and the market. Surprisingly the market prices were quite good. The condo itself was clean and very comfortable with all the amenities of home. However, getting in and out of the refrigerator could be a little challenging. The ceiling and oscillating fans maintained a comfortable room temperature, considering it was extremely warm outside. The wheeled shopping utility cart made the trips to grocery a breeze and a fun walk. The beautiful court yard and brand new gas grill made grilling a pleasure. The view from the 12th floor was amazing with fireworks off in the distance, a quick game of pool and chopsticks on the piano………. making the simple things in life totally enjoyable and relaxing in this busy world called life. The concierge of the historic building was very helpful and the tenants were friendly. Should we ever venture to Long Beach, CA again, I would definitely book Ingrid’s condo and would highly recommend others to do so. Thank you Ingrid for you hospitality and a wonderful place to stay. Cozy condo we stayed in for 2 weeks. Ingrid was nice and very responsive. Lots of restaurants and things to see within walking distance. FedEx Office is right around the corner and we frequented Subway restaurant which is near FedEx Office. From the balcony we could see almost daily the cruise ships that were in port. The public beach is about 5 minutes up the road. Note the building with the painting of the ocean life is not the aquarium; it is the convention center. We recommend the whale watching tour if you do not get motion sickness. If you have a car, I highly recommend parking in the garage next to 555 Steakhouse; the garage will allow you to pay $50/month parking which was the cheapest I found. Just go into the garage during normal business hours and talk to the lady in the parking attendant booth. We stayed 2 weeks but I felt the $50 was worth it and was such a peace of mind not having to worry about moving the car for the street sweeper or moving to another meter every 2 hours. The condo does not have air conditioning. Ingrid has provided 2 floor oscillating fans and there is a ceiling fan. We found it too hot to stay in the condo during the day without having the fan on us the whole time. The kitchen is very small and if you are a large person you will not be able to open the fridge standing in front of it which was frustrating. The building is secured which I liked and was built in 1920s and seems plumbing may be an issue as we were asked not to flush bath tissue and instead to dispose of bath tissue into a trash can. I liked having a laundromat on site to use. Not sure if we would stay again due to no air condition and the plumbing issue. We enjoyed the weather. We learned from a resident that it has not rained for months which would explain the signs on the freeways regarding severe drought. One other suggestion is to use the bags Ingrid provides for grocery shopping and even shopping at places like Target. They prefer reusable bags be brought with you to the store and Ingrid has several in the condo for use. Ingrid goes the extra mile by providing lotion, hand soap, hair dryer, iron, laundry detergent, a cart to use for groceries or laundry. It was a nice feeling that she thinks of her guests needs.
Property was well maintained, clean and had everything we needed. It was perfect for our stay. Ingrid took the time to explain and show us everything as well as the surrounding. There are plenty of restaurants and shops in the area and the condo is minute walk distance to the metro station (blue line to LA downtown) and to the Airport Flyaway shuttle ($7,00).
I would definitely go back and recommend this property to anyone who’s looking for a property in Long Beach.
The place was really nice. The location was awesome. (Parking was a little steep though)
Ingrid is very quick to respond and went out of her way to make sure we got into our room even at midnight. Her and her family are wonderful people. Would stay again.
