Our apartment experience in Paris was everything we had hoped for. The apartment layout is multi-functional: bedroom, TV area, eating area, kitchen and office. It is located on the second floor and an elevator is available to help lift your luggage. The location is perfect. We were able to walk to many of the sites we wanted to see and it is very close to the Paris Metro that can get you anywhere you want to go. Sebastien was most helpful. We stayed in eight BnB accommodations on our trip and Sebastien was definitely the best host. He welcomed us, explained the very secure access to the building, gave us the history of the building and left very in-depth information on restaurants, wines, chocolatiers, local grocery markets, wifi, taxis - anything we could possibly need during our stay. We highly recommend this accommodation in Paris and thank Sebastien for helping two travel-weary travelers feel right at home. If and when we go back to Paris, we will definitely stay here.
This apartment is a gem! Sebastien was so accommodating and friendly. The location was perfect. The apartment was VERY clean. The building is charming. I had lunch with a Parisienne, and she couldn't believe we got this apartment for the cost. She was stunned. I would stay here again in a heartbeat.
We visited this place in the end of March 2015. It was a wonderful time, but it was cool weather. The room was comfortable and warm. We found all that we needed. Sebastien was very kind and considerate, thanks to him. The main advantage of the property and its location. It's almost opposite the Louvre! During our stay, we never used the metro - all the main sights of Paris are located within walking distance. In the morning you can enjoy the birds singing in the Tuileries Gardens in Paris and rustling brooms wipers. Comfortable and quiet street. Near store fresh seafood and fine bakery around the corner.
Great location near the Marche du St. Honore. 5 minute walk to the Tuileries gardens and metro stop. Everything we needed, including excellent WiFi. No washing machine, but there is a laundrymat very close by and there is a drying rack in the room if you want to do a little hand wash. Excellent recommendations on groceries, wine and restaurants. We enjoyed our stay very much. As others have noted, Sebastien was very friendly and professional. St. Hyacinth is a very short street and does not have much traffic and we found it very quiet. NB. The shower is very cozy and might be too small if you are a large person.
This studio hits almost every traveler's needs very well. The clever attention to spacing makes this small studio feel comfortable even for my 6'7" tall husband. Spotlessly clean and tidy the room feels tranquil after adoring the sights of Paris all day. And yes, the bed really is very, very comfortable. Besides the excellent location the best thing about this apartment is the way Sebastien manages it.
Quite a refreshing change from the usual agent, he thoughtfully leaves recommendations for food, necessities and conveniences that he has vetted. He treats you as a guest he is happy to see, not merely tolerate. We tried and enjoyed several of his cheerful recommendations.I wish we ran into more agents like him in our travels.Of course, the location of the studio is central and we walked everywhere!
The only reasons we did not give it 5 stars is that it can be a little noisy at night depending on the people on the street
(which no one can control) and that it does not have a washing machine. (There is a laundry 2 minutes away though). We'd give Sebastien 5 stars for management…let's make it 6 stars, it is Paris after all!
We stayed in this apartment for 1 week. It is tucked away in side street. Very close to St. Honore with all the fancy boutiques. It is quite a walk from the Roissy bus stop. Especially if you have a lot of luggage. The apartment is about 10 min walking to the Tuilerries Metro stop. It is located in a very old building with a strange smell. The apartment is small. The shower area is very narrow and for a bigger person might even be acceptable. Because the apartment is on a side street, its always dark in there. Everything else is fine. Would be nice to have better pillows. For the price, its doable for a short stay. I am not sure if I would stay in that area again. Sebastian, the manager is nice and accommodating. He recommended a bakery near by and it turned out to be one of the highlights of our trip.
