We wanted to get away for 10 days to Florida, and as very frequent clients of VRBO in Europe and the USA, we turned to VRBO to locate a condo on Marco Island. After looking at many adverts for condos, we found this condo to be the best in all of the criteria that we look for. We rate this property 5 Stars and 10 out of 10 in the following: #1 Location, very well kept up #2 Proximity to the beach, and the condo has a closet full of everything you need for the beach including towels, chairs, beach cart, umbrellas and much more. #3 The closeness of several grocery stores and a wide variety of restaurants. #4 Everything you would need in the kitchen from dishes, silver, pots and pans and more. #5 A new front load washer and dryer and much more amenities in the condo. #6 A great pool right there on the property, great for an end of the day dip. The biggest plus for this condo is the price. In looking for a place to stay, we found many condos costing alot more that did not measure up to the quality of this condo. The owners live in Montreal, and are two of the nicest people to deal with, as they are willing to make sure your stay on Marco Island will leave you with good memories of your time there. My husband and I were so very happy with our time at this condo at the Essex. It is clean and comfy, with every amenity you can imagine. The location is perfect, renters friendly, and the property very well managed. During our time there we really felt "at home!" The owners are very accommodating, easy to reach, and helpful. We look forward to returning each year. Thank you Jon and Karine!
I was nervous about picking up our keys after hours but it was very easy. The condo was comfortable and well kept. Maybe a little crowded for our family of 5 but we were expecting that. The screened in porch was wonderful, beds very comfortable, kitchen well equipped. We really appreciated the use of beach chairs and umbrella! Thank-you! We went to Tigertail Beach twice and that was the highlight of our trip. We did walk to the local beach a couple times and that was very convenient. The pool on-site was perfect, even my husband loved it. One small annoyance, I waited a month to get my deposit back and finally had to call the management company. I feel they should have handled that more promptly. We had a wonderful family vacation and would definitely go back.

We are a semi-retired couple who recently sold our Myrtle Beach condo and decided to spend a month in Marco Island. We wanted to rent in a complex with on-site parking and a pool and in a location which is walkable to the beach, restaurants and pubs and a short drive to shops and grocery stores. The Essex complex met all our needs. Its location at the quieter southern end of the island and in proximity to the South Beach access was ideal.
Your unit is bright, very clean, comfortable and tastefully decorated. We only needed a one bedroom condo. Since your second bedroom includes a desk with a desk light, it became the perfect office. Thus your unit was just right for us. The kitchen is well stocked with cookware, dishes and small appliances. The large master bedroom with its walk-in closet and comfortable king-size bed was appreciated. There is an ample supply of quality linens. Having a brand new washer and dryer in your unit was a bonus. We thoroughly enjoyed using your lanai--coffee in the morning and drinks in the late afternoon--and watching many beautiful sunsets.
Thank you for sharing your unit with us. We highly recommend it for a week’s or month’s accommodations. Hopefully we will have the opportunity in the future to return to Marco Island and rent your unit.

We enjoyed staying at this property. The location is great and just a short walk to the beach. The condo unit was very clean and fully equipped with everything we needed for our enjoyable stay. We would be very happy to stay in this unit again.
