This property sits directly on Clam Lake. Awesome Summer getaway! Clam Lake is on a chain of Lakes 5 Lakes (including Torch Lake) & 3 Rivers all for your boating and fishing enjoyment. You have beautiful views of the water immediately when you open the door. You can even view the Torch Lake sunset right from the sitting area. You will find everything you need to cook a full meal. Sleeping arrangements include queen Murphy bed (looks like brown armoire) and a queen sofa sleeper. Come enjoy northern Michigan in the winter months also. Much to do.....skiing, tubing, snow shoe, wander from winery to winery and brewery to brewery. Outdoor activities are just minutes away (Boating, Golf, Trails for biking & hiking, Skiing, Snowmobiling and great small towns to explore) .

For the boating enthusiasts, the public launch is 1 mile down the road East. There are many options for boat rentals in the area. Boat slips are available for rent at Dewitt Marina across the lake. Fourth of July Fireworks are spectacular! Set off on the South end of Torch Lake. These can also be viewed from the docks in Alden.
Be sure to take a stroll through Alden for some light shopping and a very large ice cream from Higgins General store. A must is a visit to Shorts Brewery in Bellaire.
Bikers and runners alike have some very hilly roads around. For a nice hilly hike or bike in the woods check out Glacial Hills trails less than 10 minutes drive.
Fall colors are incredible and this area has spectacular golf courses as well. Winter activities including skiing, snowmobiling, ice fishing, snow shoe, etc.

In the event that guests bring bikes,please store them on the lower level West end laundry room entrance.

Please do not leave bikes / coolers, etc.... outside of the condo doorway or in parking lot. Store bikes in designated room (lower level) or vehicle.

Absolutely no grilling outside the unit. If a grill is brought by renter, please keep it over by the fire pit with other owners grills.

Great long weekend

The condo was an excellent stay, especially for boaters. The condo was very clean, spacious and well cared for. The slip was fairly shallow but comfortably fit our 23’ boat. Would love to return in the future!

Perfection

This was the perfect spot to spend a few days relaxing. The sunsets from the t dock were stunning and sitting in the sandy area with our feet in the water was perfection. It’s a quick drive into town where you’ll find anything you need along with delicious food and great shops. 10/10 on cleanliness in the condo which is at the top of my priority list. Hands down the cleanest place I’ve rented. It had everything we needed, too. The thought the owners have put into stocking the condo for renters is beyond anything I’ve experienced before. Forgot your makeup remover? Theres some in the bathroom. Stained your shirt with mustard from Short’s? Stain remover in the cabinet. It was like a home away from home! Knowing how well cared for the property is we will be renting again.

Perfect-Few Things To Know

Overall this property was ideally located, nice quiet lake, near restaurants/Torch Lake, close to many small towns, nicely stocked, VERY clean. Owner was extremely responsive to any questions and fabulous the entire time. The kids (8 & 6) loved playing by the pier and the majority of residents at the Condo were extremely friendly. The only 4 star item would be that you may not leave one single thing outside. Life jackets, water shoes, etc to dry. We had to put wet items in the condo or in our vehicle. We had to take the Lilly Pad out of the truck one day so my husband could run to town and within an hour an owner, mind you, not the owner of the condo Lisa, but another owner had taken a picture and sent to her. We promptly moved it of course but this type of thing put us on high alert to not make anyone upset and negatively impacted our neighborhood score and frankly made us paranoid. The neighbors who were so kind actually apologized to us for the not so great ones, which did help us relax a little. Again, owner was amazing and we would definitely stay at other properties owned/managed by her.

Perfect Getaway!

This condo is immaculate!! Very nicely decorated and in a perfect location. My wife and I loved having use of the dock to park our boat. We enjoyed the central location to golf courses, dining, wineries and of course, Torch Lake. We will definitely be back if it's available!

Great cozy with a view

Great place to stay, super clean and super convenient. Close to Bellaire and the restaurants and wineries and brewpubs. Greatest feature for us was the included slip so we could keep our boat there. Gorgeous views especially at sunset from the dock and the boat. Would highly recommend this place especially for a couples weekend or a small family.

My husband Kevin and I bought this property as soon as we saw the water views. We have always loved Northern Michigan! Hopefully our kids will continue to enjoy Northern Michigan as they get older, its very special.
