This stone home was built 45 years ago on top a hill overlooking the Texas Hill Country near Dripping Springs. The house sits on a beautiful six acre property just minutes from several of the most popular hill country wedding venues. Deer Creek Lake is only a 1.5 miles away. This park spans over 33 acres and includes 2 small lakes great for swimming, hiking trails, and playgrounds.

The fully equipped kitchen opens to the grand room and includes a stainless steel refrigerator, glass-top range, and reverse osmosis water dispenser. Relax in the centrally located grand room with a two story vaulted ceiling, floor to ceiling stone fireplace, and fifty five inch flat screen TV. The large wall of window provides great natural sunlight and beautiful hill country views. The master suite offers a king size bed, the second bedroom offers a queen size bed, the third bedroom has two twin size beds, and the fourth bedroom is a bunk room with two twin bunk beds and another twin size bed.

The lovely, large back deck complete with hot tub and BBQ pit over looking the spacious and private backyard offering a fire pit and plenty of room kids and pets to play.

PET POLICY: Pets are only allowed if they have been registered prior to your arrival. A maximum of 2 dogs are allowed and a pet fee of $25.00 per pet, per night will be added once your pets are approved.

SELF CHECK-IN REQUIREMENTS: All reservations will be required to sign a rental agreement and provide Hills of Texas Lodging with a valid credit card to be placed on file for their stay. In lieu of charging a damage deposit or non-refundable damage waiver, a temporary hold will be placed on a credit card upon arrival for incidentals (just like they do at hotels). We are basically just verifying with your financial institution that sufficient funds are available in the event they were needed to cover property damage(s). If there are no property damages, the card will not be charged.

Wedding weekend
We rented the house to attend weekend wedding. The house is clean and comfortable. Fairly easy to get to and close proximity to the venues that we needed to attend.

Not a good experience at all
We requested to check in early, no reply. We get to the properly and see there’s a house right in front of it and there was 2 individuals just staring while we got there (no privacy). First two nights you can hear people outside walking and talking. The house is very old and it smells old too. The cleaning deposit I’m not sure who cleans but they definitely just clean what can be seen because there was soo much spider web in the kitchen, under the sofa. The kitchen has no space for things if you decide to buy your own things to cook etc, thank god I brought my own pans and dishes because where they are stored is dirty too! Most of the cabinets were locked due to Im guessing personal belongings from whomever owns the home. I see now why full reimbursement isn’t an option Even if you cancel with time..for the price that was paid definitely not worth it. Atleast please have the cleaning be done properly especially if guests are paying for it.

Great Weekend Family Getaway
We had a lovely time at this country home. We especially enjoyed spending the evenings out by the firepit and even saw some deer! The house was very comfortable for my large family of 9 and had everything we needed to have a relaxing and stress free weekend.

Great place for a girls trip
Great house for a girls trip. We enjoyed the location and it was in a great spot for visiting all the activities we had planned for the weekend. The house is comfortable but their are not enough bathrooms for the amount of people that can stay in the house. The loft room upstairs sleeps five but their are no blinds or window coverings so that early morning sun makes it very bright and very warm in the morning. The upstairs also has a huge flood light that shines bright into the window. Overall a good place to stay but does need some updating.

Very disappointed! Home need repairs.
The home needs repairs. First impression was it smelled musty. We had no outside trash can until 3 days after we called about it. One of two toilets was leaking. The solution to it was to come in the house unannounced while we were out and shut the water off. This left the master toilet for 8 people! All the chairs around the fire pit are broken. Master bath outlet and light/exhaust fan did not work. Several kitchen cabinets locked no place to put food! There were no blinds or curtains on the upstairs loft that had 5 beds. One bright spot is we saw deer in the back yard. We went to two rental properties that others in our group rented. The were so much nicer!
