Esta unidade vem com um terraço privado. O edifício foi projetado arquitetonicamente e detalhada. Sul enfrenta janelas oferecem muita luz solar. orientações janela para a brisa off-shore vai manter a sua casa agradável e fresco nos meses de verão (AC central, bem se você gosta dela frio extra). Unidade está mobilado, então basta trazer seus pertences pessoais e deixar o resto para nós!

Owning two VRBO properties myself, I know how important reviews are toward future rentals, so I hesitated posting this, but neither VRBO, nor the property owner offered any adjustment on our payments for clear misrepresentation of the property description. If you are expecting the "Top of the world" views as described and pictured on the listing... be aware that the views are nothing like the photos and description state. We chose this property over two others, in spite of the fact that we had to climb 5 flights of stairs ( no elevator) because it showed great views and a relaxing deck to enjoy them. Nothing could be farther from the truth.. The view from the deck is the back side of a construction site, with contractors working during the day, while we were there. And after construction is complete.. you will be looking at a parking lot and condo complex 50 feet away. The rest of the listing is accurate, except property owner still shows long range views that one would assume are from the Condo.. Not true... Any picture on this listing showing any views of the Harbor are going to be false. I tried getting VRBO involved to address the mis-representation.. to no avail. For me, it's hard to get by the misrepresentation, AND lack of response or concern from this property owner to try to resolve a complaint, to recommend this property. Charging a premium price, or any price, should have a true representation... Sorry.. I tried for 6 weeks to get some response.. Sometimes the truth about a listing hurts.
The condo was amazing! well kept, clean and has everything you need. Even had A huge pot for when we bought lobsters from the local fish market. Its very close to the middle of Old Port and anything else you would want to do in Portland. The only thing we struggled with was finding parking nearby because the property does not have any available parking. Aside from that everything was perfect. Needless to say that would not deter me from booking it again. Thanks for the great getaway!
We had an excellent time over the 5 days we were there. Check in and check out were easy. They accommodated our schedule and met us in person to show us the apartment. Very friendly and helpful.
The Place - The building appears to be new construction. Everything in the apartment, including appliances, are brand new. As a cook I appreciated the gas stove and large fridge. You walk into an open floor plan with kitchen, dining area and sitting area with TV. We enjoyed the space, each area feels distinct with plenty of room. Great for eating, hanging out, playing games or just watching some TV. Master bedroom has nice big bed, the second room was perfect for my girls, slightly smaller bed. Plenty of closet space. Bathroom is large with double sink and full bath.
Location - You are located on the East side of Old port, easy walking distance from all the attractions, ferries and shopping. We walked downtown at least once a day with no issue. I am a runner and you have the Eastern Promenade trail start about 3 blocks away, you can follow that around the Eastern waterfront to the Back Cove trail for an 8 mile round trip. Nice water views the entire way. If you are a biker the bike shop across the street rents and is very helpful in mapping out a route. (Warning closed Sunday).
Groceries - rite aid up the block, but for full supplies Whole Foods is about half mile away. Large shop with plenty of selection. Easy walk if not carrying too much, otherwise 2 minute drive.
Parking - We parked on the street with no issue. Always found a spot on the block. Have to thank one of the owners for a late night text, letting us know we were parked on the wrong side of the street. (Street cleaning) saved us from a ticket!
Coffee- I love my coffee and don't like to travel far. Two great places nearby. Coffee by design around the corner. Good baristas, small shop, carries Fresh Holy Donuts in the morning. ( if you don't know what Holy Donuts are, google them, fantastic!!). Crema is a little farther down the street towards the water. Bigger place, a little more lively, serves Spinach egg and cheese or sausage egg and cheese sandwiches in the morning.
Overall great time, great place, great location.
The Skybox condo was fantastic. Liv, the co-owner, met us upon our arrival and showed us the space. My guests and I quickly could see much thought had been put into making the condominium welcoming for visitors. Light streamed through large clean windows and splashed across the living / kitchen / idining area. With very high ceilings and plenty of floorspace, my fears that the skybox unit might be too small for our party of six quickly abated. ( 2 friends slept on air mattresses in the living room). Liv's design sense was reflected in her choice of fixtures and furnishings, all sleek and tasteful. This sensibility carried itself right through the space into the generously sized bathroom and two bedrooms. We were impressed by the crisp, clean decor and gleaming hardwood floors throughout. We like to cook, and the kitchen area was very workable with plenty of countertop space, a gas stove, and large refrigerator with a great ice maker. The sink was deep and included a garbage disposal. Friends could easily gather and gab as cooks prepared seafood from nearby markets. The wine refrigerator was neatly tucked away in the corner and comfortably accommodated our wine supply. Although the air was cool, and we did not need the air conditioner, it seemed to have plenty of cooling power. There is a small balcony we enjoyed as well. We brought four bicycles with us and were able to keep them safely in the garage. The location of the skybox was just right, on the edge of the city in a comfortable neighborhood with a coffee shop just around the corner and a friendly and busy bike shop just across the street. We had very quick walking access to Old Port and many amazing restaurants and shops, but were happy to return to our quiet retreat after touring or dining out. In summation, I, as well as my guests, was more than satisfied with the skybox and think it is quite a nice find.
