Each apartment is distinctively decorated and has its own individual character – no cookie cutter condos here!

We are conveniently located for snorkeling, close to Half Moon Bay with its reef and Yalku Lagoon with myriad tropical fish - and guests at Casa Gatos receive a one third discount for entry to Yalku. There are ten restaurants/cafes/luncheonettes on the beach side of Akumal and more in Akumal Pueblo across the highway. Three are within less than 500 meters of the house.

Casa Gatos is in a quiet residential neighborhood that forms an island of calm surrounded by Yalku, Half Moon Bay and the Mangroves. We are on an interior lane facing a small woodland park that shields us from the traffic on the main beach road, ensuring our guests the privacy and calm in which to relax while away from the “getting and spending” of their everyday lives.
